The first Submariner Date/Ref.1680.
This was manufactured from 1969 to 1975.
This is the early model with the SUBMARINER logo in red, commonly known as the "Red Sub."
The one we are introducing today is one manufactured around 1971.
This one has a great face!!
This is an incredibly cool piece with the tritium burn that can be described as exquisite aging!!
The dial is MARK4.
The horizontal bars of the "f" and "t" in the waterproof rating of 660ft are not on the same line.
The dial features an open 6.
The MK4 dial is a relatively common dial among red subs,
It seems like there's been less stock coming in recently.
The dial has natural deterioration overall, but is in good condition!
The tritium luminous hands and indexes are in particularly beautiful condition.
The condition is overall there are scratches from use,
On the contrary, the scratches add to the charm and create a nice atmosphere.
The middle case is relatively thick and very sturdy!
I can't feel the case getting thinner!
The clasp has been replaced in later years,
