The third generation hand-wound Daytona "Ref. 6263" manufactured from around 1969 to around 1988
This is the final model of the hand-wound Daytona, and is equipped with the caliber "Cal. 727" which vibrates at 21,600 vibrations per hour.
The pusher is screw-locked, making this model highly waterproof.
This product is serial number 34 and was manufactured around 1973.
The watch we are introducing this time is a dial without any Daytona notation above the 12-hour counter.
Big Red is cool too,
The unmarked dial is also a very popular early dial!!
The sigma marking "σ" at the 6 o'clock position on the dial is also
This is a characteristic of the early dials.
*The σ mark indicates that gold or other precious metals are used on the dial.
Furthermore, this particular example has an early dial known as a low letter dial, in which the three lines of "ROLEX OYSTER COSMOGRAPH" are positioned slightly toward the center.
Compared to the black text/no markings Sigma dial on the right of the photo, the position of the three-line markings is clearly different.
The low-letter σ dial of the watch manufactured around 1973 is perfectly aligned.
Another attractive feature of the Silver Row Letter is that the scales on the subdials are silver!!
The silver dial and silver lettering create an outstanding look!
The dial has some luminous chipping at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions, and some corrosion at the 3 o'clock position.
The rest is kept in very good condition.
*The specifications of the sub-dial hands vary depending on the model.
The bezel is an inverted Z “MK3” bezel.
Although it is a later model, this bezel is rare and valuable.
The pusher is a replacement pusher "MK3" with a grooved cylinder.
The condition is that the case has some polishing.
There are no major scratches, but there are scratches throughout the item appropriate for its age.
The bracelet is a little worn out from later years, but is still sturdy.
Wrist shot!!
This is an early Low Letter with a great vintage aura!
Enjoy the beautiful silver panda dial!
Popular Ref.6263/Silver dial, Rowletter x Sigma dial!!
This is a rare dial that is hard to find if you go looking for it!
The parts may not be completely compatible, but the price is very attractive!
