Hello!

Kaneko from Commit Ginza will be introducing some fascinating watches! Today, we are introducing the final MK5 dial of the original Explorer II! Rolex Explorer II MK5 All Tritium Ref.1655 Serial.82 series (manufactured around 1983) Cal.1570 FF580/78360 Clasp engraved H Accessories: Main unit only SOLD OUT!! The first Explorer II "Ref. 1655" was manufactured from 1971 to 1983. It is a very popular model with a retro feel that is unique to vintage models. The model we are introducing this time is the last one manufactured around 1983, near the end of production. The dial is the original "Type 5 dial" that matches the era. The specifications are almost the same as the MK4 dial, but the letter "O" in "OYSTER" is a perfect circle!

The luminous material is all tritium. The hands and indexes are in excellent condition. The dial is also in good condition with no noticeable scratches or scuffs.
The beautifully burnt tritium and the exquisitely faded GMT hand are also attractive!!
The bezel is an MK4 that fits onto an MK5 dial! Unlike the MK1 to MK3, it features a clearly folded "1" font. Compared to the replacement bezel, the numbers are larger and the font of the "8" is different. The bezel condition has some scratches from use, but it looks good!
The case and bracelet are in good condition for a watch manufactured in 1983. The middle case has a slightly polished feel, but is not overly finished. Clasp code "H" The 78360 hard bracelet that matches the date is also included. It is in a solid condition with some wrinkles!!
Wrist shot!! As expected, the face of this well-groomed vintage model is outstanding!!
