Today we have a rare model of the first Nautilus!

Patek Philippe Nautilus Jumbo Champagne Dial
Ref.3700/11JA manufactured around 1981 Accessories: Archives and repair details (2017/09)
SOLD OUT!!

The epitome of sporty elegance, the Nautilus is Patek Philippe's first sports watch, designed by Gerald Genta .
The model we are introducing this time is the first Nautilus model, released in 1976, and is commonly referred to as the "Jumbo" model due to its 40mm case size, which was large at the time.
This is a simple two-hand model without a second hand, and it is said that only about 1,200 stainless steel models were produced, and the SS/YG combination model is an even rarer model, with even fewer units produced.

The SS Jumbo model is a model that commonly sells for over 10 million yen at overseas auctions.

And it came with a super high price tag.

The most attractive feature of the Nautilus is the thinness of its case.
Due to its two-piece structure, the case thickness is only 7.6mm.
Incidentally, the current model, Ref. 5711/1A, is also thin, but because it has a three-piece structure with a back cover, its thickness is 8.3mm.

Two-piece structure: The case back is integrated into the watch, rather than being separate, and the movement is sandwiched between the two parts, the bezel and the case, with the case secured in place by the lugs of the bezel.
The movement is the "Cal. 28-255C", which is based on the thin automatic movement "Cal. 920" manufactured by Jaeger-LeCoultre and has been improved by Patek Philippe.
The power reserve is approximately 40 hours.

This watch comes with an original stainless steel crown.
Many of these watches have crown changes, but the original crown is a big plus!

The dial condition is also very good.

This product was manufactured in 1981, but the case and bracelet are in good condition with only minor scratches.
*The model number 3700/11 is said to be from the 1980s and has a slightly wider bracelet.

As you can see, there is almost no stretching of the breath.

The accessories include an archive.
It is important to archive such rare models!
In addition, the previous owner had maintenance completed at a repair shop via a department store in 2018, so it is a reliable item!
