The third generation hand-wound Daytona "Ref. 6263" manufactured from around 1969 to around 1988
This is the final model of the hand-wound Daytona, and is equipped with the caliber "Cal. 727" which vibrates at 21,600 vibrations per hour.
The push button has been replaced with a screw, and the water resistance has been increased to 50m.
The word "OYSTER" is printed on the dial.
The item we have in stock this time is a big red dial with a black face!
The early models with no markings are also popular,
The red logo is really cool though.

The Big Red with black dial is back in stock for the first time in a while!

The small red dial is a replacement dial,
Big Red is the more popular of the two!!
The big red dial shown here was probably replaced later,

The in-dial has deteriorated with age and the luminous material has disappeared.

The pusher
is a "MK3 pusher" with a groove on the cylinder.
The bezel is
the "MK4" with a smoothed out "S" for UNITS PER HOUR.
The plastic bezel is in relatively good condition.
The overall condition is age-appropriate with some scratches,
There are no major scratches and the condition is good.
The case has a slight polished feel,
There is no excessive finishing.
Considering its age, it is in very good, impressive condition.
