The first Explorer II "Ref. 1655" manufactured from 1971 to 1983

The vintage model has a retro feel to it.
This is a very popular model.
Even so, this model is incredibly popular, as it sells out immediately every time it arrives in stock!!
Among the various vintage models, this is an attractive model that exudes a retro atmosphere by far!

The one we are introducing this time is one manufactured around 1974.
The dial is the original "Type 2 dial" that matches the era.
It features an impactful and cute crown logo!

Large orange 24-hour hand,
The base of the hands is painted black, the same as the dial.
The dial also features a "phantom effect" that makes the luminous parts appear to be floating.
The luminous material is all tritium. The hands and indexes are in excellent condition.
The dial is in very good condition with no noticeable scratches or scuffs.

The Ref. 1655 is also available in a wide variety of bezels, just like the dials.
This particular watch is equipped with a period-matching Type 2 bezel .

The bezel, which is an important point, does not have excessive finishing.
It's in very impressive, beautiful condition!

The case and bracelet have some small scratches due to use.
It is in good condition and is an attractive specimen.

The middle case in particular is in excellent condition!
Like the bezel, there is no excessive finishing.
It is maintained in excellent condition.

The hairline of the rug foot is beautiful.
It's thick and has sharp edges!!

The bracelet has been replaced in later years,
It's in good condition with almost no wrinkles!!
