Around 1967, the mirror dial was changed to a matte dial.
The matte dial we are introducing this time is the letter "E" of the ROLEX logo.
This dial has a long horizontal line in the middle, commonly known as a "long E dial."
This is a characteristic of the early matte dials and is a popular dial that is classified as a Type 1 dial among matte dials.
In addition, the luminous material is the same as the mirror dial.
