Features
① The first blue version of the Black Bay Chrono
The Black Bay Chrono "Blue" was inspired by Tudor's 1970s models, the blue Submariner and the Oyster Date Chronograph Monte Carlo. Colorful dials are becoming commonplace these days, but Tudor was the first to adopt blue before other brands.
Blue has already been introduced in other collections such as the Heritage Chrono and Black Bay, but surprisingly, this is the first time it has been used in the Black Bay Chrono.
The distinctive blue dial features the snowflake hands that are the symbol of the Black Bay Chrono, and two silver sub-counters. The indexes and hands are white, while the sub-dials are silver, creating a striking contrast with the deep blue color.
The 45- minute counter and date display at 6 o'clock are inspired by early Tudor chronographs, making this a watch that combines classic elements with a modern style.
②Tudor's unique T-Fit , 5- link bracelet made of SS (stainless steel)
This sporty-looking chronograph watch is paired with a five-link bracelet that gives off a dressy impression, creating a luxurious feel despite being made of stainless steel.
The buckle also uses ceramic ball bearings, which allows for smooth opening and closing and a pleasant feel. It's easy to overlook, but the buckle is a part that you use every time you wear the watch. Because it's a part that you use so often, it's nice to know that it's made with a focus on comfort.
③Chronograph movement " Cal.MT5813"
Based on the Breitling 01 , the Cal. MT5813 incorporates a high-precision regulating mechanism developed by Tudor and is finished with a unique process. The openwork rotor has a satin finish with sandblasted details, while the bridges and main plate are alternately sandblasted and laser decorated, allowing you to enjoy the movement not only functionally but also visually.
It has a power reserve of about 70 hours and is equipped with an anti-magnetic silicon balance spring, making it a practical watch. It is also COSC certified, and boasts a high average daily rate of -2 to +4 seconds, exceeding the standards set by this organization.
