Satoda : "I've always liked blue, and I was looking for a watch with a blue dial when I came across this Submariner Ref. 16803. Considering my everyday styling, I felt that the stainless steel version was a little lacking, so the combination version was the deciding factor. The combination of blue and gold gives a flashy impression, but this watch is old, and has aged to have tritium and gold tanning, giving the overall tone a subdued look. I fell in love at first sight with its exquisite color balance."
