So, over several posts, we will be introducing the wide variety of dials available from Rolex's Submariner, GMT Master, Yacht-Master, Daytona, Datejust, and Day-Date, along with some of their most popular models, focusing on color, material, and design.

This classic dial was first added to the lineup around 1998 (around the U series). The dial design is the same as the SS (stainless steel) model, but the new model has a different in-dial design, elevating it to a more stylish design. 2. Black dial (8P diamond)

This model features 8P diamonds on the index, and the addition of diamonds to the black dial gives it a sporty look with a sparkling accent. Surprisingly, this dial is always available in the 18KWG (white gold) Daytona, and in the new model released in 2023, the design of the sub-dial and the 15, 30, and 45 indexes have been changed from applied Arabic numerals to bar type. This dial is definitely recommended for those who want a luxurious feel.

3) Exotic dial (Le Mans 100th anniversary model)

Among the new products for 2023, this one received the most attention, and is a model commemorating the 100th anniversary of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, paying homage to the dial known as the "exotic dial." The in-dial features a unique font design, and at the 9 o'clock position, where a 12-hour counter would normally be located, a 24-hour counter has been adopted as a tribute to the 24-hour endurance race at Le Mans. In the secondary market, the initial batches are being sold for several times the list price, making it a rare piece that collectors covet.

4. Blue Dial

This sunburst blue dial has a refreshing impression and is only available in 18KWG (white gold) specifications. The red color used on the inner edge of the subdial and the "DAYTONA" lettering is a nice accent to the design. This is a special dial made for the Dutch national team that participated in the 2010 FIFA World Cup (South Africa). The Dutch national team requested 30 commemorative watches through Gassan Jewelers, an authorized Rolex store in Amsterdam, and produced the Daytona Ref. 116509H made of 18KWG (white gold), with the orange dial used in the Dutch national team uniform. A total of 30 watches were produced, 15 with bracelets and 15 with leather straps, and were given to the players and staff who participated. The case backs are engraved with the names and uniform numbers of each player, making them special Daytonas.
