The first Overseas, Ref. 42040, released in 1996, features a bezel with two overlapping Maltese crosses and a design of a sailing ship by Italian explorer Amerigo Vespucci on the case back. It is equipped with the thin movement Cal. 1311, based on the Cal. GP3100 made by Girard-Perregaux, and has a case thickness of only 8.4 mm. This is a reprint of the model released in 1977 to commemorate the 222nd anniversary of the brand's founding, and it was probably the most talked-about model at Watches and Wonders Geneva 2022 held in 2022. The 37mm case diameter "Ref. 44018" made of yellow gold, commonly known as "222 Jumbo", has a modern interpretation, and the brand's symbolic "Maltese cross" is attached at the 5 o'clock position on the case, and many people were excited by the design that followed the original design.
