16. Patek Philippe
Patek Philippe has been able to repair all of its watches since its founding in 1839. Regarding post-purchase warranties, free repair service is available for two years from the stated purchase date at Patek Philippe authorized service centers around the world. If you purchase from a domestic distributor, there seems to be a one-year extension system, so please check if you purchase from an authorized store. Repair warranties after overhauls by the manufacturer are two years.
Please note that if the purchaser's name has been removed from the Patek Philippe watch, the watch will not be covered by the warranty even if the warranty period is still valid (paid repairs are possible). The same applies if repairs are performed by an unqualified third party.

⑰Grand Seiko
Grand Seiko, a world-renowned Japanese watch brand, offers a three-year warranty after purchase (applies to purchases made after March 24, 2017, two years for purchases made before that). 18. Rolex
The last watch we will introduce is a Rolex, which, if you undergo regular maintenance (including overhaul), will be issued with an international service warranty that provides a two-year warranty (for natural breakdowns, etc.). If you undergo an overhaul at Rolex, it will affect the resale price, so we recommend that you keep this international service warranty (quote, delivery note, invoice, etc.) in a safe place.
Currently, there is no cancellation fee for obtaining a quote, but please be aware that if you repeatedly obtain a quote and then cancel (return without maintenance) multiple times, they may no longer accept maintenance on that item.
In addition, Rolexes come with a 5-year warranty from the time of purchase at an authorized store, but if repairs or inspections are performed at any other service center within the warranty period, the international warranty will not apply and repairs will be charged. This includes light polishing, so if you are purchasing a Rolex from a parallel store, we recommend that you check with the store.
In addition, if you modify the name (by painting over or masking) within the warranty period, you can have it repaired free of charge, but if the guarantee is scratched and the base is visible, it will become invalid, so be careful. This is a point to be careful of when purchasing, and it will also affect the appraisal, so you should also be careful about the modification of the guarantee.
Finally, if you take an older watch (such as one with a 5-digit reference) to Rolex for maintenance, they may not be able to accept the watch for maintenance if the hands, dial, or luminous points (especially tritium) are found to be corroded unless they are replaced with later Luminova lume.
As many of you may know, originality (hands, dial, luminous points) greatly affects the appraisal.
