The watch that KOUICHI purchased was the GMT-Master II "116710LN," a pilot's watch that is equally as popular as the Submariner among Rolex's professional models.

This model, which was released in 2007 as a major renewal of the "Ref. 16710", is a model that combines functionality and durability, with larger indexes for improved visibility, a parachrom hairspring with excellent magnetic resistance, and a sturdy case and bracelet. Although it has already been discontinued, it is equipped with Rolex's proprietary movement "Cal. 3186" and is still very popular. The green color used for the dial logo and 24-hour hand is also an attractive piece.

The watch that Mr. F purchased was a Rolex Daytona, Ref. 116520, two generations old, with a white dial, which was produced from around 2000 to around 2016.

The "Ref. 116520", which was released in 2000, attracted a great deal of attention as it was the first watch to feature the "Cal. 4130", a chronograph movement developed entirely in-house by Rolex.
While it follows the design of the previous model, Ref. 16520, it has been brushed up in every detail, such as changing the layout of the subdials and enlarging the indexes due to the change in movement. Since its introduction, it has been highly praised for its excellent precision and reliability, and remains a popular watch today.
