The first watch we would like to introduce is the extremely popular Rolex Daytona Ref. 116520 with a white dial, purchased by Michika, a woman appearing in the Watch Enthusiast Series for the first time.

The "Ref. 116520" inherits the design of its predecessor, the "Ref. 16520," but has been improved in every detail, including a revised in-dial layout and larger indexes due to the change in the movement.

This watch has a good case and bracelet. It's a watch you'll want to wear on your days off.

COMMENTS
First of all, I'm impressed with your sense of style in choosing the Daytona! Of course, the matching watch you have with your husband is lovely, but Michika's style in wearing the large Daytona is just too cool! You often see women wearing the Daytona in overseas snaps, but there are still not many in Japan. The Daytona is the ultimate fashion item that is fun to wear and has asset value! It really suits you! Thank you for posting on Instagram too!

Reference 1016

The watch that KM purchased was his own birth year watch, a vintage Rolex Explorer I Ref. 1016, which is filled with special meaning.

This long-selling model was manufactured from 1963 to 1989, and several detail changes were made during its 20-year production run. The model chosen this time was an R-series model, which is a later model year. There is also an E-series model, which was produced in extremely limited numbers, but the R and L-series models are popular models from years when production was nearing the end of its life.

The photo shows him wearing a Daytona Ref. 16520 with a leather strap, enjoying his watch life. This is an overwhelmingly popular semi-vintage model equipped with the Cal. 4030 movement based on Zenith's El Primero.

COMMENTS
KM-san is a customer who participated in the "Watch Enthusiast Series" questionnaire when we held the previous "CTG Vol.6". He answered the questionnaire about the "Ref.1016" he recently purchased, but he came to the store wearing the "Daytona" "Ref.16520" model he purchased before that. I was really happy to know that he has been using it for a long time. He also came to say hello after changing jobs to Okinawa! If you come to Tokyo, all of our staff will welcome you with all their might, so please be sure to come visit our store! (laughs) We look forward to seeing you!

The watch that Miyamoto purchased was a Rolex Explorer I, Ref. 1016.

This is a watch manufactured around 1968 with an MK5 dial. (Originally, the MK1 dial was called "Frogfoot" due to its age.) Usually, it is replaced with a service dial, but the MK5 dial is very attractive, and with the fat font style 3, 6, and 9 indexes, it is highly rated! The overall condition of the watch, including the dial, was very good.

COMMENTS
First of all, this model is perfect for denim styles and suits Miyamoto-san very well! With vintage watches, consistency and price are important points to consider, but Miyamoto-san didn't miss out on the "Ref. 1016" with its beloved dial! As expected! Kaneko was also very happy that he had used "Kaneko's Watch Blog" as a reference when making his purchase. Our appraiser: Kaneko's "blog-featured products" are all attractive models that are filled with his love for Rolex. This is definitely a watch worth buying. We hope you will continue to support "Kaneko's Blog"!

This model has been significantly renewed from the previous model "Ref.16713", and is equipped with larger indexes for improved visibility, a Parachrom hairspring with excellent magnetic resistance, and a sturdy case and bracelet, making it a model that combines functionality and durability. There is a high possibility that the price will rise, especially for older models, so it is definitely a watch you should get your hands on now.

COMMENTS
This powerful GMT Master is an undeniable combination for the dignified Yoshi, who is active as a manager and executive. It really suits him! In addition, when you wrote that the deciding factor for your purchase was "the trust of the store and staff," all of our staff are very happy! We will continue to operate our store with sincerity every day so as to live up to your words and to gain the "trust" of more customers. Thank you very much!

The watch that KS purchased is the green Rolex Submariner Ref. 16610LV, which is currently on special offer at CTG Vol. 7.

This model, which was born in 2003 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Submariner, is affectionately known as the Green Sub, and is a very popular model that uses Rolex's corporate color green for the bezel color. The indexes and hands are larger than those of the Ref. 16610, which was produced at the same time, and visibility has been greatly improved.

This is one of the earliest MK1 models, known as the "Lime Bezel" with a pale green bezel, the "Fat 4" with a trapezoidal 4 on the bezel, and the "Big Swiss" with a large SWISS MADE notation at the 6 o'clock position on the dial.

COMMENTS
Thank you for watching CTG's YouTube LIVE! And once again, congratulations on the winner! There were many passionate applications, but the staff unanimously agreed on KS's passionate message: "If I could buy it, I would paint my face green and go buy it. Please choose one." He usually wears a Sea-Dweller Deep Sea with his white coat, but we hope you'll add this Green Sub to your collection. And of course, we hope you'll show us your all-black outfit when you visit, but we also hope you'll show us your white coat outfit someday (even in a photo)!! (laughs) We'll continue to hold CTG YouTube LIVE until the end of this month, so please watch and support us!
