WATCH DETAILS

ROLEX SUBMARINER [Ref. 1680 ]

K-san purchased the following: The Rolex Submariner Date Ref. 1680 is commonly known as the “White Sub”.

The first "Submariner Date" "Ref. 1680" was manufactured from 1968 to 1980, but the "White Sub" appeared around 1975 and was a short-lived model that was only manufactured for a few years. Mr. K's "White Sub" is close to the final model year and is equipped with a "MK2 dial" where the "SUBMARINER" marking is larger than the waterproofing marking. In addition to the pumpkin dial with the tritium luminous indexes and hands burnt deeply, the bezel with exquisite aging is a very attractive piece.

STAFF COMMENTS

Thank you very much, Mr. K, for your purchase and for appearing on YouTube.
Mr. K loves fishing, and I admire his active lifestyle, which he enjoys so much that he drives all over the country and even participates in tournaments. The reason he first started looking for a luxury watch was a comment from a fishing tackle shop employee. I was surprised to hear that it was because he was recommended, "Just like fishing tackle, watches are also good as an adult's preference." From there, he visited many watch stores, and I am very happy that he finally chose Commit Ginza, saying, "The abundant inventory and the knowledge of the staff were the deciding factors." He usually works in construction, and only wears watches on holidays. I think that Mr. K, who is particular and researches thoroughly, was able to carefully select and find a watch that he was satisfied with. I hope that it will be a great companion on your holidays! Once again, thank you for your purchase.

The denim style and the brown and gold GMT Master are the perfect combination. It also went great with the accessories. He had been looking for this model for a long time, and was planning to give up if it had been sold by the time he came to Commit, but it was still there as if it had been waiting for him, so we are very happy that he decided that "this is fate".
