ROLEX EXPLORER 【Ref.1016】

K-san purchased the following: An attractive vintage Rolex Explorer Ref. 1016 model fitted with a US Jubilee bracelet .

This is a long-selling model that was manufactured from 1963 to around 1990, and several detail changes were made during its 20-year production period. This particular model is equipped with an MK1 dial that matches the era, and although there is some deterioration due to age and some missing luminous parts, the beautifully burnt tritium creates a unique atmosphere. In addition, this is a later model that has an added hacking function and is equipped with the "Cal.1570", which is said to be the masterpiece of Rolex movements.

Rolex Day-Date [Ref.18238][Ref.18238]

The watch that YK-san purchased was the Rolex Day-Date Ref. 18238, which features a tasteful black dial.

The Day-Date is the highest-end model of Rolex, available only in rare materials such as gold and platinum, but this model features a stylish and luxurious design that combines an 18KYG (yellow gold) case and bracelet with a black dial. In the 1988 model change, the 36mm case that fits comfortably on the wrist was kept, but the previous model's thick kamaboko case was updated to a slimmer, more sleek case.

ROLEX DAYTONA [Ref. 16520 】

The watch that JUN purchased was the Rolex Daytona Ref. 16520 with a black dial, which is an overwhelmingly popular semi-vintage model.

This model is equipped with the "Cal. 4030" movement, which is based on Zenith's "El Primero," and even now, more than 30 years after its release, it continues to enjoy strong support. The dial comes in two colors: black, which gives a bold impression, and white, which gives a sophisticated impression. Another feature of this model is that the crystal has been changed to sapphire crystal. This particular watch has thick lugs with sharp edges, and the hairline finish is in beautiful condition, making it an excellent case.

The watch that KM purchased was the Royal Oak 50th anniversary model "Ref. 15510ST.OO.1320ST.01" with an attractive night blue dial.

This model, which has been attracting attention in recent years among Audemars Piguet's iconic watch "Royal Oak", is equipped with a "50th anniversary rotor" only in units manufactured in 2022. This is a special edition model. The item purchased was in very good condition with a solid non-polished case and bracelet.
