The watch that KM purchased was the Rolex Daytona Ref . 16523, an El Primero combination model that was manufactured from around 1988 to around 2000.

In addition to this champagne dial, the Ref. 16523 is available in a wide range of colors, including the classic black and white of the Daytona, as well as gray and shell. The combination of the champagne dial and combination case and bracelet is a gorgeous design that any man would find cool.

KM works at SPEAKEASY TOKYO, a store that deals in vintage eyeglasses and sunglasses. Thank you for your purchase! The champagne dial matches perfectly with the vintage-feeling clear frame and lens color, making it an almost perfect outfit! The watch that Tee purchased is a semi-vintage Rolex GMT-Master Ref. 16700 model with a slight tan color and tritium luminous coating.

The "Ref. 16700" was produced from the R series (around 1988) to the A series (around 2000) and features a red and blue colored bezel commonly known as "Pepsi." This particular example is in excellent condition. The case retains its original shape, the dial shows no signs of deterioration, and the tritium has been burned, making this a flawless watch. The faded Pepsi bezel has a cool look, making this a very tasteful watch!

Tee came all the way from Los Angeles. First of all, thank you for your purchase! Unfortunately, he said he didn't want to show his face, but Shibata from the International Sales Department, who served him, told us that "he lives in Hollywood for a movie-related job and was a really nice guy." The watch that KH purchased is the Rolex Daytona Ref. 116506, the top-of-the-line professional model .

Featuring a chestnut brown Cerachrom bezel and a refreshing ice blue color scheme, this watch has been extremely popular since its release in 2013, the 50th anniversary of the Daytona, due to its rarity and high design. It was discontinued with the announcement of its successor, the Ref. 126506, at Watches and Wonders Geneva in 2023, but it is still rare and the market price remains high.

Double Blue Sub Shot

This model, commonly known as the "Blue Sub," is an overwhelmingly popular combination model among many others. The violet dial, in which the blue dial turns purple over time, is one of the details that enthusiasts covet, and can be found in early production models. The combination of this vibrant dial color and the burnt tritium luminous material gives this watch a truly vintage feel!
