The watch that Mr. K purchased was the first-generation “Lange 1”, “Ref. 101.032”, from A. Lange & Söhne.

Released in 1997, this model features an elegant 18KPG (pink gold) x silver dial, and is one of the most popular models in the brand, competing for first and second place. Its greatest feature is its design based on the golden ratio of two subdials, a power reserve, and an oversized date. It is not only beautiful to look at, but also highly legible, giving the viewer an intellectual impression. The main dial is placed off-center, and while it is asymmetrical, it maintains an exquisite balance, which has had a major impact on the watch world. On the other hand, it also has a stop-second function that allows you to stop the second hand by operating the crown, making it a practical design.

There is no big difference in specifications between this model and the current model "Ref. 116500LN", but there are clear design differences with a stainless steel bezel and silver sub-dials, and this model is popular among a wide range of people. The item purchased was in excellent condition and had a mirror-finished buckle.

The new series "CODE11.59", announced at SIHH2019 for the first time in 26 years, signifies "11:59" just before the start of a new day, and is a modern model that achieves a new three-dimensional expression by combining parts of different shapes. This model has an 18KPG (pink gold) case, a black lacquered dial and an applied logo, creating a simple yet luxurious look.

SEAMASTER 300 SPECTR LIMITED EDITION

The watch that Sawada purchased is the Seamaster 300 Spectre ( Ref. 233.32.41.21.01.001 ), the first "007 limited edition model" worn by James Bond, the protagonist of the 007 film series, in a movie.

The black ceramic bezel made of liquid metal does not have the military-specific " 12" marking, and the back cover is engraved with a serial number indicating the limited number and the "0 07" logo. The center second hand is equipped with a so-called "lollipop" hand, named for its rounded tip that looks like a candy bar, giving it a somewhat vintage feel. In addition to the rarity of this limited edition model, the stylish design is also attractive.
