EXPLORER Ⅰ
Reference 214270
The watch that YY purchased was the Rolex Explorer I, Ref. 214270, which was released in 2010 and is one generation older than the current model.
The case diameter has been enlarged to 39mm , and the index " 369 " at the time of its release was reminiscent of the "Blackout". A minor change was made around 2016 , and it is divided into an early model and a later model. The later model has larger hands, a better balance with the case, and the index "369" is painted with luminous paint, improving visibility.

EXPLORER II
Reference 16570
The watch that Mr. F purchased was the third-generation Rolex Explorer II, Ref. 16570, with a white dial, which is the series' best-selling model and was produced for nearly a quarter of a century from around 1988 to around 2011.
In addition to the date display, this model has a full range of functions such as a GMT function, is available in black and white dials, and is the last model to feature a 40mm case in the Explorer II series. TONDA GRAPH GT
Reference PFS906-1020002-100182
The two watches that Miki purchased at the same time were the highly popular and up-and-coming luxury sports model, the Capek Antarctic Emerald Iceberg, and the Parmigiani Fleurier Tondagraph GT, Ref. PFS906-1020002-100182.
The first is the new Capek, founded in Geneva in 1845 by François Capek, a Czech court watchmaker who was supported by Napoleon III, and revived in 2011 to carry on his legacy. The model name, Antarctic, refers to the Antarctic continent, and this extremely rare model, limited to just 10 pieces worldwide, features an image of the emerald iceberg, a green iceberg that is said to be visible in Antarctica, on the dial.
The second is Parmigiani Fleurier, founded in Fleurier, Switzerland in 1996 by the genius watchmaker Michel Parmigiani. The Tonda GT is a luxury sports model that pursues elegant style and high performance, and is designed to be a part of the wearer's daily life. It features a round case, which is named after the Italian word "TONDA" (round). The movement is equipped with a complicated annual calendar and chronograph mechanism.
