GMT-master

Reference 1675

The watch that Makino purchased was the Rolex GMT-Master Ref. 1675, a long-selling model that was manufactured from 1960 to around 1980.

This is the second model with a crown guard, and in addition to the red and blue colored bezel commonly known as "Pepsi", you can enjoy vintage elements such as "rimless" indexes and a plastic windshield. As mentioned in the reason why I decided to purchase it, the tritium luminous material on the MK1 dial is strongly burned, and the fat font bezel insert also has a very good coloring, giving it an outstanding atmosphere.

COMMENTS
If you like vintage items, the tanning of this index will definitely catch your eye! Thank you very much for visiting our store after seeing our website. We have had many inquiries about this product, and this is all thanks to Makino's quick action! The aura that vintage items give off is something you see for yourself, try on, check the tanning and coloring, and before you know it, you're hooked. We are always forced to put up with this kind of phenomenon. (laughs) Actually, I often visit the store where Makino works! Let me say hello next time!

The watch that Mr. F purchased was the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Ref. 15450ST.OO.1256ST.02, designed by the genius watch designer Gerald Genta.

This medium-sized watch, with a case size of 37mm, is equipped with the in-house movement "Cal.3120" and features a gray dial with a "Grande Tapisserie" pattern, making it a watch that highlights the beauty of the Royal Oak.

COMMENTS
First of all, congratulations on your long-awaited Royal Oak! Now that the market has stabilized, I think it was the right time to buy. When you place importance on asset value, you can't help but be concerned about market fluctuations, but if it's a watch you like or a watch you admire, you should wear it every day and enjoy it to the fullest. Above all, the Royal Oak is a wonderful watch that lifts your spirits just by wearing it! I can really empathize with Mr. F's desire to "collect one model from one brand," and I hope that Satoda, who was in charge of F's watch, and all of our staff will do our best to help him continue to live a wonderful watch life.

Reference 4000E/000A-B439

The watch that Terry SHINDO purchased is the Vacheron Constantin Fiftysix Complete Calendar, Ref. 4000E/000A-B439, which is reminiscent of the iconic model released in 1956.

The blue date hand and moon phase disc create an elegant contrast with the classic silver-tone dial. This stainless steel model, a successor to the 1956 model, features a highly accurate moon phase that will keep working accurately for 122 years.

COMMENTS
First of all, Terry is wearing a blue checked shirt, which suits him very well! It looks great with suits, of course, but also with elegant casual styles! And starting with his first Rolex, which he bought when he was around 24 years old, the lineup of multiple watches he owns is also impressive! His perspective, which comes from his experience with watches from various brands, is truly impressive! We are truly honored that someone with such experience as Terry is satisfied with the quality of the watches we carry. Furthermore, we would like to thank you once again for watching our YouTube channel!!! We hope you will continue to support Commit Ginza!!!

WATCH DETAILS

CARL F. BUCHERER

HERITAGE BICOMPAX ANNUAL LUCERNE

Reference 00.10803.08.12.22

The watch that KH purchased was a rare model sold in a worldwide limited edition of 188 pieces by Carl F. Bucherer, a brand founded in Lucerne, Switzerland in 1888.

This is a heritage model that reproduces the design of the 1950s, including the case, hands, indexes, and push buttons, while updating the size and functions to modern times. The two-register chronograph in a panda color scheme exudes a classic atmosphere, and the light blue accent color is beautiful. The big date at the 12 o'clock position on the dial is also a feature.

▼ Classic car that inspired it: the Lincoln Cosmopolitan Town Car

Source: WEB Chronos

COMMENTS
KH says that the color was the deciding factor in his purchase. The light blue, with its faded denim-like character, really appeals to men! It matches perfectly with the jeans KH is wearing. The design of this model is inspired by the rare Lincoln Cosmopolitan Town Car, a car that was owned by the Bucherer family. It's also great to know that it has been cherished by the Bucherer family for generations. This light blue, reminiscent of a classic car, is perfect for summer, so even though the hot weather is still continuing, we hope you enjoy wearing it!

Q. How many watches do you currently own?

Q. Where do you usually get your clock information?

Q: What was the deciding factor for your purchase?

- It was unpolished and the corners were cracked and torn.

WATCH DETAILS

Rolex

Submariner

Reference 16610LV

The watch that Tokki purchased was the Submariner 50th anniversary model "Ref. 16610LV," the most attractive of which is the green bezel, which is also the symbolic color of Rolex.

This is the "MK1" seen in the early production run. Its features are "FLAT4", "Big Swiss" and "Lime bezel". What's more, it is surprising that it is in unused condition with a seal. In other words, it is a non-polished, crisp individual.

COMMENTS
Toki fell in love with the unpolished, sharp corners. You can really tell how much he loves watches! And thank you for the wonderful photos of him wearing it! That being said, this particular watch is rare enough as it is an unused MK1, as it is a D series manufactured around 2005. MK1s are often found in Y9 and F series watches, but there are very few D series watches. It is so rare that appraiser Kaneko has only handled a few in his 17 years of appraisal experience. Both our staff and the watch are thrilled that such a watch has been purchased by a watch enthusiast like Toki! Thank you so much! Please take good care of it!!
