Today we will be bringing you the 2024 edition of mechanical wristwatches "Interesting (restock hoped for) models" Patek Philippe Nautilus & Aquanaut .
At our store, Commit Ginza, we have many models for which customers have registered their interest in restocking. Because these are popular models, we receive many inquiries from customers when we receive them, and many models are immediately sold, so in some cases it is difficult to fulfill requests. Given this current situation, you may be very curious about which models are popular and who is considering purchasing them.
So, we would like to introduce some carefully selected models that our customers have requested to be restocked! Please enjoy until the end.
*As of June 2024, the models selected were those that have been requested to be restocked within the past three months.
If you are interested in any of the watches, please register your interest in them now.
① "Aquanaut Extra Large" "Ref.5167/1A-001"
*Source: https://www.commit-watch.co.jp/buyer/watches/mens/patek_philippe/aquanaut/aquanaut-410589/
The Aquanaut "Ref. 5167/1A-001" with a stainless steel bracelet was released in 2008.
When you hear the word "Aquanaut," many people think of the tropical band (rubber strap) version, but the bracelet version is sure to be useful in situations where you want to create a more luxurious impression than the sporty tropical band. Previously, even those who owned the tropical band version of the "Ref. 5167A-001" were able to purchase a bracelet at the Patek Philippe service center, but it is also important to note that this is no longer possible. *Currently, the tropical band version of the "Ref. 5167/1A-001" is no longer available for purchase.
② "Aquanaut Tiffany" "Ref.5167A-001"
*Source: https://www.commit-watch.co.jp/buyer/watches/mens/patek_philippe/aquanaut/aquanaut-32/
Next up is the tropical version of the Aquanaut, Ref. 5167A-001.
This is a double-name model with the letters Tiffany & Co. at the 6 o'clock position on the dial. Tiffany & Co. boutiques in the United States have been selling Patek Philippe watches since 1851, making them the oldest retailers in the country. Currently, the double-name model is only sold at Tiffany & Co. boutiques in New York, Beverly Hills, and San Francisco. The Aquanaut is one of Patek Philippe's most popular models. It is a rare double-name model with a low circulation, so we have received many requests for it.
➂ "Aquanaut Large" "Ref.5165A-001"
*Source: https://www.commit-watch.co.jp/buyer/watches/mens/patek_philippe/aquanaut/aquanaut-410270/
The "Ref. 5165A-001" was released in 2007 along with the "Ref. 5167A-001".
The former is called the extra large size and is 40mm, while the latter is a large size and is a little smaller at 38mm. It was released in 2007, but was discontinued after only two years, around 2009, so not only is it in low circulation, it is also extremely rare. We have received requests for this size as it fits easily on the wrists of Japanese people.
4. Nautilus "Ref. 5711/1A-010"
*Source: https://www.commit-watch.co.jp/buyer/watches/mens/patek_philippe/nautilus/nautilus-424135/
The Nautilus was released in 2006 to commemorate its 30th anniversary.
This is the "Ref. Ref. 5711/1A-010" which underwent a minor change around 2010 and had its reference changed. The dial color has become more blue and shiny, and the bracelet links have been changed from double-sided screws to pins that are knocked out. Among them, the model we have received a request for this time is the model that uses the new movement "Cal. 26-330 SC", which is installed in the units manufactured after 2019, has a hack function (second hand stop) and does not have a time period during which the date cannot be changed. Not only will it only be available for a few years from 2019 to 2021, but it is also important to note that Patek Philippe tends to prefer older models.
⑤ "Nautilus" "Ref.5711/1A-011"
*Source: https://www.commit-watch.co.jp/buyer/watches/mens/patek_philippe/nautilus/nautilus-360320/
The Nautilus Ref. 5711/1A-011 was released in 2012 with a white dial.
The elegant white dial features dark blue-edged indexes and luminous hands, making it highly legible. It was a popular Nautilus model due to its modern yet pop look, but was sadly discontinued in 2020. Compared to the popular blue dial, it seems to be less available, making it popular with people looking for a different Nautilus.
⑥ "Nautilus" "Ref.5711/1R-001"
*Source: https://www.commit-watch.co.jp/buyer/watches/mens/patek_philippe/nautilus/nautilus-395791/
Next up is the "Ref. 5711/1R-001," released in 2015. The combination of an 18KRG (rose gold) case and a brown and black gradient dial gives this model a calm impression, but also exudes a mature sexiness.
The SS (stainless steel) "Ref. 5711/1A" was manufactured for approximately 15 years from 2006 to 2021, but the "Ref. 5711/1R-001" was manufactured for about seven years and was discontinued in 2022. This 18KRG (rose gold) model seems to have been produced in small numbers and not many in circulation.
7. "Aquanaut Chronograph" "Ref. 5968A-001"
*Source: https://www.commit-watch.co.jp/buyer/watches/mens/patek_philippe/aquanaut/aquanaut-274301/
Next, we would like to introduce the Ref. 5968A-001, the first Aquanaut model to feature a chronograph with flyback function, announced as a new model in 2018.
This model features a beautiful black gradation embossed motif dial, with orange chronograph hands, counter hands, and chronograph display, creating a pop impression while effectively using the color as an accent. Many people are attracted to this model, which is suitable for both casual and business use.
8. Nautilus Petite Complication "Ref.5712/1R-001"
*Source: https://www.commit-watch.co.jp/buyer/watches/mens/patek_philippe/nautilus/nautilus-421379/
Next is the "Ref. 5712/1R-001" with an 18KRG (rose gold) case and bracelet, which was announced in the fall of 2022.
This model features a brown dial in the same color as the case and bracelet, and is not only luxurious but also has an elegant finish. The Ref. 5712R-001 with an 18KRG (rose gold) case and leather strap, which was released in 2006, will be discontinued in 2024. If you are concerned about sweating in the summer, you may refrain from using the leather strap version, but the bracelet version is easy to use all year round, which may be one of the reasons for the requests we have received.
summary
What did you think.
We have received many requests to restock the Patek Philippe Nautilus and Aquanaut models, and we have introduced them here. We have received many requests, so we have only introduced a portion of the models, but looking at the list, we can see that the simple three-hand models and the complication models with excellent design are very popular.
We have received requests for restocking (interest), so if there is anyone who owns the model in question and is considering selling it, we would be happy if you would take advantage of our Commit Ginza store's sales and purchase service.
