"Actor's Watch" focuses on watches worn by actors in movies, television, etc.
For our 120th installment, we will be looking at Dave Bautista's watch .
Since I saw Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 (2023) on the first day of its release during Golden Week, I still haven't had the time to think about other movies, so this time I'll be writing about this film as well.
The focus this time will be on actor Dave Bautista , who plays Drax, a prison escapee who is a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy (hereafter referred to as "GotG") and is both "stupid and strong."

Dave Bautista was a member of the professional wrestling organization WWE from 2002 to 2014, and was active as one of its star wrestlers. The masterpiece buddy movie " Stuber" (2019) is about an immigrant driver who is struggling to make money with Uber to make his girlfriend's dream come true, and is forced to cooperate with a macho detective who has become a vengeful demon seeking revenge to avenge the death of his murdered partner. Dave Bautista, who plays Vic, the detective who teaches the troubled immigrant driver "what it means to be a man, " wears an Armitron Sport (Ref. 45/7004BLU) on his wrist.

For some reason, the famous detective Benoit Blanc ( Daniel Craig ) and Andy ( Janelle Monáe ), the co-founder who was kicked out of Alpha, who Miles had not invited, also received invitations and visited the island.
During dinner on the first day of the invitation, Miles announces that he will hold an elaborate murder mystery game in which the player is killed by someone. Everyone is bored as Bran solves all the puzzles prepared for him, but the situation changes when Duke, who drank alcohol from Miles' glass, writhes in agony and actually dies. Because of low tide, neither the doctor nor the police can enter the island until the next morning, so Miles asks Bran to find the culprit.

Daniel Craig plays the gentlemanly but eccentric detective Benoit Blanc in the second installment of the suspense series, Knives Out: Glass Onion (2022). Dave Bautista plays Duke Cody, a boastful, patriarchal YouTuber who becomes the first victim of the case.
In the film, he wears a Panerai Submersible Goldtech (Ref. PAM01164) . Panerai is synonymous with masculine, chunky watches, and the Submersible is one of the brands chosen for its durability and scratch resistance. Again, "durability" is the key word, but the addition of a " luxury " element to the role of a well-funded influencer gives the film a fresh impression compared to the previous two films.

The result was a stunning three-way tie for " durability-based watches ." With a dressy watch, you can't swing your strong arms around to your heart's content, so this was a natural choice.
The expression " a watch speaks for itself " is a perfect fit. Let's keep an eye on how many more rugged watches he will wear in the future.

The "GotG" series has reached a happy finale with " Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 ". The director's geeky sensibility and spirit of service, and the actors' solid acting, all came together perfectly, and I personally think it has become a rare masterpiece in recent years.
