Purchasing products online has become commonplace these days. Luxury watches are no exception. At our store, many customers search for information published on our website (hereafter referred to as HP) before coming to the store, and many also purchase directly online. In fact, products with a high number of hits are almost always sold immediately. This is why the number of HP hits is an important indicator for measuring the attention and popularity of a product in the market.
Therefore, we would like to introduce the top five most popular models for the past six months, by brand, over multiple installments. We hope that you will pay attention to this ranking and use it as a tool to identify models that are in high demand.
This time, we will be focusing on Grand Seiko, a watch brand that Japan is proud of around the world, and introducing their models! Please enjoy until the end.
5th place
Girard-Perregaux Laureato "Ref. 81010-11-431-11A"
Coming in fifth place is the Laureato "Ref. 81010-11-431-11A," a model released to commemorate the 225th anniversary of the company's founding.
Featuring a blue dial adorned with a small pyramidal Clous de Paris pattern and an octagonal bezel, the sapphire case back reveals the in-house automatic movement, Cal. GP01800, boasting a power reserve of approximately 54 hours. The bracelet seamlessly blends seamlessly with the case, and the 10.88mm case is large enough to fit comfortably over a wristwatch.
4th place
Tudor Black Bay Chrono "Ref. 79360N"
Coming in fourth place is the popular Black Bay Chrono "Ref. 79360N" model, which features a black aluminum bezel and two counter sub-dials contrasting in a "panda" color scheme.
Released in 2021, this chronograph features a rugged 41mm case and a design reminiscent of the Chronotime and Rolex Daytona. It features the same Caliber MT5813 movement as the now-discontinued Ref. 79350, boasting a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. The Ref. 79360 is available with three straps: bracelet, band strap, and fabric strap, but we recommend the versatile bracelet version. The dial color is available in white, commonly known as a "panda dial," or a bold black, making this a recommended watch with a stable price.
3rd place
Zenith Chronomaster Sport "Ref. 03.3105.3600.52.M3100"
Coming in third place is the Chronomaster Sport "Ref. 03.3105.3600.52.M3100," which was released in 2022 in a limited edition of 250 pieces.
This refreshing watch features an aqua blue dial with matching aqua blue subdials, and is equipped with a new version of the most famous movement, the El Primero 3600 caliber. The see-through case back allows you to admire the open rotor adorned with a Zenith star and its intricate movement. Due to the dial color not found in the regular model and the limited number of units available, this rare model sold out in an instant, making it a highly sought-after item.
2nd place
Chopard Alpine Eagle 41 "Ref. 298600-3001"
Coming in second place is the Alpine Eagle Large (Ref. 298600-3001), which pays homage to the St. Moritz, the first watch created in 1980 by Chopard co-president Karl-Friedrich Scheufele.
The most distinctive feature of this model is its galvanically treated Aletsch blue dial, said to be inspired by the iris of an eagle. The case and bracelet are made of Lucent Steel A223, which took four years to develop and boasts approximately 50% greater hardness than the 316L commonly used for standard stainless steel. It's also hypoallergenic, making it a highly recommended choice for those who want to wear it vigorously or those with metal allergies. This luxury sports watch combines beautiful design with practicality, so why not take this opportunity to get your hands on one?
1st place
Credor Locomotive "Ref.GCCR999"
Taking the honorable first place is the Locomotive "Ref. GCCR999," which was released in 2024 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Credor's founding, with a worldwide limited edition of 300 pieces (200 of which were made in Japan).
Developed based on Gérald Genta's hand-drawn sketches, the Locomotive was named with the hope that it would become a model that would lead the Credor brand into the future. Its hexagonal case, inspired by a locomotive, and its bezel with six screws are distinctive Gérald Genta signatures. Furthermore, the grayish-black dial, inspired by steam locomotives, features approximately 1,600 lines individually machine-engraved to create a delicate pattern reminiscent of the steam emanating from a locomotive . Another key feature is the Cal. CR01, a thin automatic movement exclusively for Credor, featuring special gold plating and temper blue screws. Its elegant design, combined with its rarity as a limited edition, makes it a highly sought-after model.
