Good evening everyone.
This time, we will be introducing the new work that was announced last year and has attracted a lot of attention.
[Patek Philippe] "Nautilus" "Ref. 5711/1A-014"
We have received a new item, so we would like to introduce it to you. This is an extremely rare model that was discontinued after only one year and disappeared from the catalog. Please enjoy it until the end.

"Nautilus" Green SS

In January of last year, there were rumors that the Ref. 5711/1A-010, an automatic three-hand model with a stainless steel case that had been the driving force behind the popularity of the Nautilus, would be discontinued, and this became a reality, causing the price of the Nautilus to begin to rise.

As if to contradict those rumors in a good way, the new models announced for 2021 were the "Ref. 5711/1A-014" introduced here, which features a sunburst olive green dial, and the "Ref. 5711/1300A-011" which features a baguette-cut diamond bezel.

This is not a fact-based story, so please take it as just one opinion, but I think there were at most 50 "Ref. 5711/1A-014" watches sold by authorized dealers. There were probably about 10 "Ref. 5711/1300A-014" watches.
You may remember that in July 2021, the "Ref. 5711/1A-014" was put up for auction at the watch auction house Antiquorum and sold for approximately 54 million yen.
Green was a trend color last year, but to be honest, the dial of the "Ref. 5711/1A-014" doesn't have that much of a green hue. When viewed under warm light or in low light, it's a green that's close to black. When viewed under natural light or in high light, it's an olive green. I think this description is the best.
The biggest difference with the "Ref.5711/1A-010" is the dial color, but the date display window is made of 18KWG (white gold), giving it a luxurious feel. The luminous bar indexes and hands are also made of 18KWG (white gold).
The movement that can be seen through the skeleton back made of sapphire crystal is the "Cal.26-330 SC" that was also used in the "Ref.5711/1A-010" manufactured after 2019. There has been a lot of talk about the disappearance of the hack function (stop-second function) and the date change time zone, but in fact, many technological innovations and optimizations have been made to the winding system, and it has excellent functions, which is also a point that cannot be overlooked.
The robust construction and 120m water resistance make it ideal for everyday use, and the combination of polished and satin finishes makes it a classy design that stands out from other brands. It's truly Patek Philippe.
It has only been worn for a very short time, and even when viewed with a 10x magnifying glass, there are no scratches or scuffs, making it an extremely beautiful item with an SA rank. All accessories are included, and it is in untouched condition and very clean.
The selling price is 88,880,000 yen (tax included).
There are currently no examples for sale in Japan, and even on a certain famous overseas website, the lowest price is set at nearly 100 million yen (including tax). This is about the same price as buying an apartment, but considering the future, I think it is a very dreamy watch.
summary
What did you think.
Although the green Nautilus was seen occasionally at first, it has become rare to see it on the secondary market recently. In fact, as mentioned earlier, there are no domestic stocks left.
It's not exactly cheap, but when you consider the number produced, how well-known it is, how popular it is, and other factors, my honest opinion is that this is a watch that anyone who wants it should get!
