Good evening everyone.

This time, we have received a Patek Philippe with a double name in collaboration with Tiffany & Co. for the first time in a while, so we would like to introduce it and write about the double name models that we have handled at Commit Ginza so far. This is a new watch that arrived today (2021/02/22) , so if you are interested, don't miss it!!!

"Ref.6006G-001" Calatrava 18KWG

First, I would like to explain about this regular model "Ref. 6006G-001" Calatrava. It was released in 2017 as the successor to the "Ref. 6000" released in 2005, to mark the 40th anniversary of the birth of the ultra-thin movement "Cal. 240".

For the Calatrava, the case diameter has increased by 2mm to 39mm, which is in line with current trends.

Due to the structure of the movement, Cal. 240, this watch has a small second hand located near the 4 o'clock position, rather than a center second hand or small second hand at the 6 o'clock position as is common in ordinary watches, making it one of the few asymmetrical models in the Patek Philippe collection.

The see-through case back allows you to see the thin movement with a micro rotor.

Furthermore, the dial design, which is in some ways "unusual" and has not been seen in previous Patek Philippe models , gives it a sophisticated and stylish image, in my opinion, thanks to the hollowed-out hour and minute hands and the changed pointer date.

Unfortunately, it was discontinued last year, making it a short-lived model with a production period of just under three years.

"Ref.6006G-001" Calatrava "TIFFANY & CO." 18KWG

From here, I would like to introduce you to the W-name specifications.
This is something I think and feel about all double-name models combining Patek Philippe and Tiffany & Co., but the Tiffany & Co. name is included in a well-balanced way so as not to interfere with the perfection of the Patek Philippe dial design.

Naturally, the warranty card has a stamp of "TIFFANY & CO." on it, which shows that this was sold at Tiffany & Co. in Honolulu, Hawaii in 2018.

If you purchase from Tiffany, you will receive a letter like this at a later date.

The watch was overhauled and the case was finished by the manufacturer in 2020, so the current accuracy is very good. The case is 18KWG (white gold), so there are some small scratches due to use, but it is clear that the previous owner took good care of it.

Although it does not come with a Tiffany blue paper outer box, it does come with all the accessories and is recommended as a collection item.

As for the selling price, we have done our best to set it reasonably despite it being a double name, and are offering it at 2,800,000 yen (excluding tax) .

Previously sold "TIFFANY & CO." double name model

Here, we would like to introduce the double-name model with "TIFFANY & CO." that Commit has previously sold.

"Ref.5167/1A-001" Acnote Extra Large "TIFFANY & CO." SS

This is the popular Aquanaut Extra Large size with a double name model on a stainless steel bracelet. If I remember correctly, this watch was the first double name model with "TIFFANY & CO." that we handled after starting Commit. Because it was a popular model, it was sold out before we had a chance to think about it after it arrived (lol).

"Ref.5167A-001" Acnote Extra Large "TIFFANY & CO." SS

Next up is the current Aquanaut Extra Large size with a tropical band. Now that I think about it, I have a connection with the Aquanaut (lol). The stainless steel case with the tropical band makes it easy to use and not too heavy. If you look closely, you can see the "TIFFANY & CO." name inscribed in small letters, which gives it a classy look. I couldn't have imagined it would be this expensive back then.

"Ref.5124G-001" Gondolo "TIFFANY & CO." 18KWG

The small seconds hand at the 6 o'clock position bears the name "TIFFANY & CO.", making this an irresistible piece of fashion. For those who own multiple watches or for advanced watch enthusiasts, the Gondolo is also chosen by the "TIFFANY & CO." double name, making it even more special.

"Ref.5396G-014" Annual Calendar "TIFFANY & CO." 18KWG

Although it was a coincidence, we handled two watches, one used and one unused, at almost the same time. Personally, I really like this model because the dial design is similar to the annual calendar "Ref. 5396G" that was sold in limited quantities in 2013 to commemorate the 5th anniversary of the Patek Philippe salon in the Tiffany flagship store on 5th Avenue in New York.

"Ref.5227G-010" Calatrava "TIFFANY & CO." 18KWG

The last one I'd like to introduce is the Calatrava with a Hunter Case, which was the most recent model we handled. Even the regular models that don't have the "TIFFANY & CO." name are sold in low numbers, and we received more inquiries than we expected. What really made an impression on me was how small the "TIFFANY & CO." name was, to the point of being embarrassing.

summary

What did you think.

I think that the double name of Patek Philippe and TIFFANY & CO. is a collaboration that will be exciting not only for watch fans, but especially for men.

We think you may not have many opportunities to see such a model, but if you come across a model with a double name that you want, we recommend that you do not miss the opportunity.

Going forward, our store will continue to actively handle double-name models with "TIFFANY & CO." Personally, I think they are really rare, but I would like to handle a double-name model with a perpetual calendar and chronograph someday.

If you are thinking of selling, please, please, please, please, please contact us.

see you!
