Good evening everyone.

As October draws to an end, the temperature outside has suddenly become colder. In Ginza, where our store is located, stores have been opening and closing one after another due to the impact of the coronavirus, and the city has become darker than usual, making it feel even colder. We are keenly aware of the seriousness of this situation, and our gratitude to our customers for allowing us to continue operating is growing stronger with each passing day.

Well, we have received several Patek Philippe watches this week, so we would like to introduce their appeal. We will introduce popular models, models that offer great value, and gorgeous models that were released as new models in 2018 and are rarely seen on the second-hand market, so please enjoy until the end.

The products introduced here are also available in the video below, so please take a look!

Ref.5200G-010 Gondolo 8 Days 18KWG

The Gondolo 8 Days "Ref. 5200G" was introduced as the most talked-about model at the Baselworld 2013 launch.

When thinking of a watch with a long power reserve, the first thing that comes to mind is the 10 Days "Ref. 5100" model, released in 2000 as a limited edition of 3,000 pieces for the millennium year. It had a long power reserve and was equipped with the Cal. 28-20/220 movement, which had two barrels containing mainsprings.

This model features an 8-day power reserve and a day-date calendar, and its design is a perfect fusion of the classically designed 10-day "Ref. 5100" and the rounded, soft-looking Gondolo "Ref. 5124."

The top of the dial features a power reserve indicator that shows how much of the mainspring is left wound, while the bottom features a pointer-style date display, small second hand, and day of the week display. The beautiful dial, which can be seen in both white and silver, is unique to Patek Philippe , and the baked-in hands and indexes accentuate the excellent visibility. With an 8-day power reserve, it is a little difficult to wind the watch initially, but once fully wound, it will continue to work for a week.

The warranty date for the watch we have in stock is January 2016. It is in good condition with very little wear and tear. The leather strap is also clean and in good condition. This is a model that was discontinued in 2018, but considering the official domestic sales price at the time of its initial release, it is a very reasonably priced watch that we can recommend.

Ref.5524R-001 Calatrava Pilot Travel Time 18KRG

We previously introduced this model's 18KWG (white gold) case, "Ref. 5524G-001," in "Patek Philippe Theory - Part 10," but this time we would like to introduce the 18KRG (rose gold) case, "Ref. 5524R-001," which was released as a new model in 2018.

The design is said to be a homage to the tradition of Patek Philippe aviator watches, and the biggest feature of this model is that it is equipped with a movement with a travel time function.

The brown sunburst and black gradation dial housed in an 18KRG (rose gold) case has a different specification than the blue dial of an 18KWG (white gold) case, giving it a glossy finish and creating an air of elegance and splendor.

The watch we have in stock this time is a relatively old model, with the warranty dated July 2019. It is in mint condition and has not been polished, and the leather strap is in mint condition with no signs of use.

The regular domestic sales price is 6,182,000 yen (tax included), so the sales price is reasonable and it is a great bargain.

Ref.5270/1R-001 Perpetual Calendar Chronograph 18KRG

The Ref. 5270/1R-001, a new model for 2018, comes in an 18KRG (rose gold) case and features an exclusive, fully integrated drop-link bracelet.

The ebony black sunburst dial boasts beautiful balance and high visibility, with a window displaying the day and month at the 12 o'clock position, a window displaying the day and night at the 8 o'clock position, a window displaying the leap year cycle at the 4 o'clock position, and a hand displaying the date at the 6 o'clock position, all laid out in a wonderful balance. The chronograph hand is accented with a sandblasted finish. This is a popular grand complication equipped with a chronograph function and a perpetual calendar function.

As with any watch, the combination of an 18KRG (rose gold) case and bracelet with a black dial looks cool to anyone who sees it. Moreover, the bracelet, which is unique to Patek Philippe, fits comfortably on the wrist and feels different from other brands. The price is by no means cheap, but I would like a gentleman who can easily wear such a watch to purchase it (lol).

The watch we have just received has not had its links adjusted and is completely unused, complete with all accessories. The official retail price in Japan is 24,453,000 yen (tax included). With few units circulating on the second-hand market, we are confident in recommending this price.

summary

I don't think I need to explain this again, but the official domestic sales price of Patek Philippe has been revised since October 2020. Looking at recent market trends, distribution conditions, and sales prices both domestically and overseas, it seems that sales prices in the second-hand market have been rising, although it depends on the model.

Over the past year or so, we have been receiving more and more Patek Philippe watches, which I am very happy about. You can check the condition of the watch and the accessories on our website, but if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.

Patek Philippe is a brand that I have a special attachment to, and we are always actively purchasing their watches, so if you are thinking of selling them, we look forward to hearing from you about that as well.
