Good evening everyone.

This time, we would like to introduce "that" rare and highly popular model that was released in 2014! This model is a special one that I have had a strong admiration for and have been particularly focused on since the founding of Commit, along with the "World Time Cloisonnée"! Please read to the end!!

"Ref.5575G-001"
"World Time Moon Phase" 18KWG

[Patek Philippe] The World Time Moon Phase "Ref. 5575G-001" was released in 2014 to commemorate the company's 175th anniversary and is limited to 1,300 pieces worldwide.

When it was first released, it attracted a lot of attention among the commemorative models, and it was so popular that it was said to be a "battleground" for many authorized dealers. Its rarity and exclusivity attracted the interest of many collectors and enthusiasts.

The ladies' model "Ref. 7175R-001," which was also released to commemorate the 175th anniversary of the company's founding, was produced in a limited edition of 450 pieces worldwide. We have yet to have the opportunity to stock this model in our store, and it is also known as an extremely popular and rare model.

The case diameter is 38mm, slightly smaller than the men's model, giving it a feminine feel, and the bezel is set with 70 diamonds and the pin buckle with 27, giving it a glamorous and luxurious finish. We look forward to the day when we can present both the men's model "Ref. 5575G-001" and the women's model "Ref. 7175R-001" side by side and introduce them to you all at the same time.

This model combines the complex mechanism of a "World Time" with a highly accurate "Moon Phase," and features a large, beautiful "Moon" against the backdrop of a starry sky in the center of the dial. Unlike the small moon in a window found in conventional moon phase displays, this model offers a powerful and realistic view that makes you feel as if you are looking at the real moon.

This is made possible by a unique technique of layering a metal coating on an extremely thin glass, and the delicate shadows enhance the expression of the moon. This is a highlight of Patek Philippe's unique technical ability to achieve innovative things with ease.

Another feature that enhances the watch's appeal is the special hour hand, which is based on the Southern Cross. It harmonizes with the starry sky design of the sub-dial, creating a truly beautiful finish. Furthermore, while the regular World Time dial has the city name written on the outer periphery as "PARIS," this model has been changed to "GENEVA." These specifications are unique to this limited edition model, and it truly exudes a one-of-a-kind presence.

The modern World Time models released after 2000, such as the Ref. 5110, Ref. 5130, and Ref. 5230, as well as other derivative models, do not feature the same seamless flowing form from the case to the lugs as this model. The case diameter is a comfortable 39.8mm, and the balance on the wrist is also excellent.

This 175th anniversary model also features a special case back, which is closed and engraved with three lines: "PATEK PHILIPPE GENEVE," "175 Anniversaire," and "1839 – 2014." Incidentally, some of you may be interested in viewing the "Cal. 240 HU LU" movement, which combines world time with moon phases, through the sapphire crystal case back. I'm sure any watch enthusiast will empathize with this sentiment. (laughs)

It comes with a limited edition "ATTESTATION" certificate, warranty card, instruction manual, special inner and outer boxes for the 175th anniversary model, and a setting pin for adjusting the moon phase. The watch underwent an overhaul and exterior refinishing by the manufacturer in April 2024. While there are still some small scratches that could not be removed during the refinishing process, it shows almost no signs of use since then and remains in very good condition.

The selling price is 16,940,000 yen (tax included)
