Good evening everyone.
This time, we would like to introduce the Nautilus Ref. 5712/1R-001, which was announced as a new model for the fall of 2022, which has arrived for the first time in a long time. In addition, we currently have several Ref. 5712/1A-001 models in stock, which are made of a different material, SS (stainless steel), so we hope you will check them out as well. Please read to the end!

"Nautilus Petite Complication" 18KRG
The "Ref. 5712/1R-001" was announced as a new model in the fall of 2022, with an 18KRG (rose gold) case and bracelet.
Compared to the Ref.5712/1A-001 with a stainless steel case and bracelet, the case material gives it a more luxurious feel, but it is not too flashy and has a refined finish. By the way, before the Ref.5712/1R-001 introduced this time was announced, the Ref.5712R-001 with an 18KRG (rose gold) case and leather strap was on sale, but this model will be discontinued in February 2024.
Here I would like to briefly touch on the lineage of the Nautilus Petite Complication.
It first appeared in 2005. It started with the Ref. 3712/1A-001, which had a stainless steel case and bracelet and was produced for only one year, making it a short-lived model.
This model is so rare that we have only been able to carry about two of them so far, including products not listed on our website.

The following year, in 2006, to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Nautilus, the Ref. 5712/1A-001 in stainless steel, the Ref. 5712G-001 in 18KWG (white gold), and the Ref. 5712R-001 in 18KRG (rose gold) were simultaneously released.
Although it is a multi-functional model, it boasts high visibility due to its clever layout and a thin case of 8.52mm, making it a model that excels in both design and practicality. Each material has its own merits, from the sporty SS (stainless steel), to the heavy 18KWG (white gold), to the luxurious 18KRG (rose gold), and all of them are extremely popular.
By the way, we currently have several "Ref. 5712/1A-001" watches in stock with stainless steel cases and bracelets. Prices vary depending on the year and condition, but this is a rare opportunity to compare and choose the watch you like, so we recommend that those looking for one take this opportunity to consider and purchase it.
1. Warranty date: January 2017, in excellent condition
2. Warranty date: 2021, beautiful item
3. Warranty date: July 2020, beautiful used item
Let's go back to "Ref. 5712/1R-001".
This can be said about all Nautilus Petite Complications, but the dial design is simply outstanding. The small seconds at 4-5 o'clock, the moon phase at 7-8 o'clock, the date hand around the outer periphery, and the power reserve display at 10-11 o'clock are all designed with an exquisite balance and no wasted space. Before the Nautilus Petite Complication was released, there was only the three-hand Nautilus, so I still remember the impact it made when it first appeared.
Despite being equipped with a complex mechanism, the case diameter is 40mm (10-4 o'clock direction) just like the three-hand "Ref. 5711", and the case thickness is 8.52mm, which is only 0.22mm thicker, making it very comfortable to wear and well-balanced on the wrist. I would definitely recommend you to see, touch and experience the watch for yourself.
In addition, while it was previously necessary to purchase additional links of 1.5 links to fine-tune the wrist size of the "Ref.5712/1A-001," the "Ref.5712/1R-001" is equipped with a "folding buckle with adjustment system (patented)," making it easier to adjust the wrist size. Buying 18KRG (rose gold) links incurs a certain "cost," so this is not only more practical, but also more economical.
The movement seen through the sapphire crystal skeleton back is the Cal.240 PS +IRM +C +LU, based on the Cal.240, an ultra-thin automatic movement with a micro rotor. The base movement has not changed in the 20 years since the first Nautilus Petite Complication, Ref.3712/1A-001, was released. This means that the movement is so "amazing" that there is no room for improvement, and it gives a glimpse of Patek Philippe's high level of technical expertise.
The warranty date is 2024! The bracelet has been adjusted, and although there are some very fine scratches visible through a magnifying glass that appear to have been caused during storage, this is an unused, never-worn item, and all the accessories are untouched and in very good condition.
The selling price is 31,680,000 yen (tax included)

What did you think.
Although this is a new model for fall 2022, there are still very few on the market, and many people are probably looking for it. It is expected that the number of units in circulation will continue to be low in the future, so we recommend that you do not hesitate to purchase it next time you come across it!
We hope to continue providing you with as much useful information as possible, so please look forward to the next Patek discussion!
see you!
