Good evening everyone.
In the last Patek theory, we introduced a model that has unfortunately been discontinued, but before we know it, the long-awaited new product launch event, "Watches and Wonders Geneve 2024," will be held in just over a month. Personally, I am very excited to see the announcement of new models of the "Nautilus," "Aquanaut," or even "Calatrava." Let's all wait for that time with our imaginations running wild!
Well, this time we would like to introduce you to "that" elegant and gorgeous model that has arrived for the first time in a long time. Please read to the end!
"Ref.5961P-001"
"Annual Calendar Chronograph" PT
The Annual Calendar Chronograph "Ref. 5691P-001" was released in 2011 and is studded with diamonds all over.
This gorgeous model features a beautiful matte blue opaline dial with indexes, a bezel, a folding buckle, and an abundance of diamonds. Although this is a current model in the lineup, it remains relatively rare on the market.
When you hear the word "diamond," many people may imagine something flashy and flashy, but this watch maintains a certain elegance and has a charm that draws you in. The matte blue opaline dial has a calming color, but the baguette-cut diamonds set in the indexes give it a luxurious feel.
There have been other Patek Philippe models with diamonds on the bezel, but this model is beautiful from any angle and truly deserves to be called "Top of the Top". The bezel is made of approximately 3.48 carats of diamonds, the dial indexes are made of 0.23 carats of diamonds, and the PT (platinum) folding buckle is made of 0.97 carats of diamonds, so it is no exaggeration to say that it is a "jewel".
By the way, I remember once asking the manufacturer about the price of a buckle, and being shocked to hear that it cost over 3 million yen at the time. I wonder how much it would cost now...it's scary to even think about it. (laughs)
It is equipped with the revolutionary automatic chronograph movement "Cal. CH28-520" that was released in 2006, which is an excellent item with a flyback function that makes it easy to set the chronograph hand, and an annual calendar mechanism. The case is a little thick at 13.53mm because it is equipped with various functions, but I think the weight and impact are positive.
Adjusting the calendar is also very simple, and can be easily done by pressing the three adjustment buttons located on the side of the case from 9 o'clock to 10 o'clock. *The top button adjusts the month at 2 o'clock, the middle button adjusts the date at 12 o'clock, and the bottom button adjusts the day of the week at 10 o'clock.
Although there are some minor scratches and inconspicuous marks from use, it is in mint condition and has barely been worn. Although it does not come with a warranty, this is a model that is extremely rare on the market and has a low selling price, so we highly recommend it.
The selling price is 21,780,000 yen ( tax included)
