"Aquanaut Extra Large" SS
The Aquanaut "Ref. 5167/1A-001" was released in 2008 with a stainless steel case and bracelet.
This is a popular model that is still on sale, along with the extra-large size "Ref. 5167A-001" and the large size "Ref. 5165A-001" released in 2007. The stainless steel bracelet gives it a rugged look.
The watch we are introducing this time is equipped with the new movement "Cal.26-330 SC", but the changeover is expected to occur around April to May 2022, and it is very rare in circulation. By the way, as we have introduced many times in "Patek Theory", this movement has a hacking function (stop-second function) and there is no time period during which the date cannot be changed. It can be said that this specification is more suitable for everyday use.
The shape of the bracelet gives the impression of being thick and sturdy, but contrary to appearances, it is only 8.1mm thick, so even if you wear it in a business setting, it won't be stressful because it will be bulky at the cuffs of your dress shirt. Also, like the "Ref. 5167A-001", the tropical band version is very light and good, but the moderate weight of the SS (stainless steel) bracelet version is also recommended.
The warranty date is June 2023. The bracelet has been adjusted, but it is an unused item that has never been worn. This model is equipped with the new movement "Cal.26-330 SC", which is rarely seen on the market, and the selling price is also kept low, so it is highly recommended for those looking for an "Aquanaut".
*There are scratches on the bezel at 6 o'clock and on the bracelet that appear to have been caused during storage.

"Ref.5270/1R-001"
"Perpetual Calendar Chronograph" 18KRG
The "Ref. 5270/1R-001" was released in 2018 with an 18KRG (rose gold) case and bracelet and a bold black dial.
All "Ref. 5270" models sold up until that point had been equipped with leather straps, so many people were delighted to see the long-awaited bracelet version.
The dial layout is almost the same as previous Perpetual Calendar Chronograph models, but two small windows have been added to indicate the day/night indication and the leap year cycle, and the 30-minute counter hand at the 3 o'clock position and the second hand at the 9 o'clock position have been slightly lowered to the 6 o'clock position, making the calendar disc larger and improving visibility.
The curved bezel and stepped lugs look like winglets (small wings), which is a striking design. This is also seen in the "Ref. 2499" and "Ref. 5970", but the bracelet design makes the lugs less noticeable, giving it a clean look.
The movement, which can be viewed through the sapphire crystal skeleton case back, is the fully in-house manufactured Cal. CH 29-535 PS Q. Although it is equipped with a chronograph and a perpetual calendar mechanism, it is only 7mm thick and the case is only 12.4mm thick, making it extremely comfortable to wear.
The warranty date is December 2021. All accessories are included. Although there are some scratches and scuffs due to use, the case and bracelet, which appear to have not been polished, are in good condition and make a good impression.
*There are light dents on the edges of the lug at 1 o'clock and the back cover at 12 o'clock.
The selling price is 23,485,000 yen (tax included)
