But that aside, there has been an increase in the number of people looking for models with rubber straps recently, and even when they arrive, they are sold out immediately. In the midst of this, we have received a rare and highly popular model of the Aquanaut, which is arguably at the center of the popularity of rubber straps, so we would like to introduce it to you today. "Aquanaut" Jumbo 18KWG
The Aquanaut "Ref. 5168G-010" was released in 2019 with a case diameter of 42.2mm, commonly known as the "jumbo" size, a khaki green dial, and a rubber band made of composite material of the same color.
The matte dial has a military feel and matches both elegant and casual outfits, a finish not often seen on traditional Patek Philippe dials.

If you compare the "Ref. 5168G-010" introduced this time with the "Ref. 5168G-001" that was sold in 2017 as a 20th anniversary model of the Aquanaut, you will notice that this model has a glossy finish, which could be said to be a new attempt by Patek Philippe.
It is equipped with a double-sided D-buckle, but it can be easily put on and taken off by pressing the push buttons on both sides. This specification has been adopted since the "jumbo" size chronograph model "Ref. 5968A-001" released in 2018, and it has been highly praised among enthusiasts for its improved practicality. Of course, the design is different from the previous specification, so preferences may vary, but it feels like the luxury has been clearly increased.
This particular watch is equipped with the "Cal. 26-330 SC" with a hack function (second hand stop), which is said to be in very limited circulation among "Aquanauts." The movement no longer has a time period during which the date cannot be changed, making it much more convenient.
By the way, the Nautilus Ref. 5711 manufactured after 2019 is also equipped with this Cal. 26-330 SC, but it is said that the Aquanaut was only equipped with it in units manufactured after 2021 or 2022, so there are very few of them.
The warranty date is 2023. All accessories are included, and the watch is in such good condition that it can be called brand new. The rubber band is also in excellent condition with no cuts to adjust the size.

This is a rare piece equipped with the new movement "Cal.26-330 SC", and it is in unused condition, so we are confident that you will never find another one like it on the market at this price!
Also, as I mentioned briefly, it is very rare for the rubber band to be uncut, and I have only seen a few of them. Furthermore, many watches sold by domestic authorized retailers from around June 2022 do not come with a warranty (in most cases, the retailer keeps the warranty), but this one comes with one!
I doubt we'll ever see another specimen with so many attractive features again.
