The Calatrava Pilot Watch "Ref. 5522A-001" has a large 42mm case diameter and is made of stainless steel, giving it a rugged look.
As mentioned at the beginning, this watch was announced as a limited edition of 600 pieces at the Watch Art Grand Exhibition New York in 2017, and is still very popular. The dial design is based on the pilot watch "Aviator" at the Patek Philippe Museum in Geneva, and while retaining the atmosphere of the original, it has been brushed up to give a clean and sophisticated impression.

The Calatrava Pilot Travel Time "Ref. 5524R-001" was released in 2015 and features a combination of an 18KRG (rose gold) case and a brown sunburst dial.
The dial has day/night indicator windows at the 3 o'clock (HOME) and 9 o'clock (LOCAL) positions, and a push button to adjust the time zone is located on the 9 o'clock side of the case, allowing you to check the time at your departure point and local time. The font and size of the Arabic indexes are almost the same as those of the "Ref. 5522A-001", but since the local date display is located at the 6 o'clock position, the index is marked with a "-".

Both models have the same case diameter of 42mm, but the case thickness of the "Ref.5524R-001" is approximately 10.8mm, while the "Ref.5524R-001" is 9mm. Although it is only a difference of 2mm, the impression when worn is greatly different, and the "Ref.5524R-001" has a very strong impact, coupled with the push button on the side of the case.
