Good evening everyone.
Today, we would like to introduce the extremely rare "Split Second Chronograph" "Ref. 5370P-011", which has arrived in our store for the first time! I have seen it once before, but I am very excited to actually be able to handle it this time! (laughs)
So, without further ado, let's get started! Please enjoy watching until the very end!
"Ref.5370P-011"
『Split-Second Chronograph』
Grand Feu Genuine Blue Enamel Dial PT
The Split-Second Chronograph "Ref. 5370P-011" was released in 2020 and features a beautiful "Grand Feu enamel" blue dial.
This is a model with a different dial than the "Ref. 5370P-001 (Black)" that we introduced in the recent Patek Theory (※ Introducing 4 carefully selected models available in 2023, No. 167!! ) . This watch has a sophisticated design with Breguet numerals, white gold hands, and a tachymeter on the outer edge of the dial, and a vibrant blue dial that gives it a modern impression.
Before getting into the main topic, let me briefly introduce the "Ref. 5370P-001 (Black)".
The "Split-Second Chronograph" "Ref. 5370P-001" was announced at Baselworld in 2015.
When it was first released, it became an instant hit with people saying, "What an amazing model has been announced!", due to its beautiful and sophisticated design and the fact that it was equipped with a standalone split-second chronograph.
This "Ref. 5370P-001 (Black)" has almost the same specifications as the "Ref. 5370P-011 (Blue)" introduced this time, so if you are interested, I think it would be best to choose the color you like. It is truly a beautiful watch that is difficult to choose between, but I will refrain from commenting on whether I will have a chance to get my hands on it in the first place. (laughs)
Now, let's get back to the main topic, "Ref. 5370P-011 (Blue)".
The heavy platinum case is 41mm in size and 13.56mm thick, and has an impressive finish. The concave area in the center of the case has a satin finish, which is a design that shows Patek Philippe's attention to detail. The split buttons and large crown are also design accents, making it really cool!
The presence of the watch on the wrist is truly special, and it exudes an aura of something extraordinary. I thought I would have very few opportunities to see it in the future, so I took a wrist shot! (laughs)
The hand-wound movement "Cal. CHR 29-535 PS", which can be viewed from the skeleton back , is a complex mechanism that features a split-second function as well as the proprietary Gyromax balance . This artistic, three-dimensional movement is so beautiful and skillfully crafted that you will never tire of looking at it.
The warranty date is October 2021. Although there are some scratches and scuffs due to use, the non-polished case and buckle give a solid impression and make this a good piece. It comes with all the accessories, including a replacement solid case, and it is also attractive that it still has the manufacturer's warranty period.
The selling price is 30,800,000 yen (tax included)

It is almost never available on the market and is priced attractively compared to the current domestic list price, so for anyone who has been interested, we highly recommend it!
*Domestic list price as of July 10, 2023: 39,732,000 yen (tax included)
summary
What did you think.
We just handled the "Ref. 5370P-001" (black dial) the other day, so we have an urgent shipment of the blue dial... I'm a little confused. (lol) (※It's not something you see often at auctions) Anyway, the "Ref. 5370P" is a really beautifully finished watch, and you can't help but be captivated no matter how many times you look at it. If you have one, just coming to show it to us is enough, so we hope you'll stop by our store to show it off.
This may be a bit personal, but being able to handle so many rare and wonderful models has helped me to build up my skills as an appraiser. I owe this entirely to you all. Thank you so much.
In order to express our utmost gratitude to all of you, we will continue to bring you the greatness of Patek Philippe, so please look forward to the next Patek discussion!
see you!
