The long-awaited big Patek Philippe event, "Watch Art Grand Exhibition (Tokyo 2023)" is now being held in Shinjuku, Tokyo! (※June 10th (Sat) - June 25th (Sun))
So far, the event has been held in Dubai (2012), Munich (2013), London (2015), New York (2017), and Singapore (2019), and this year's Tokyo event will be the sixth. I am very happy and deeply moved to have been chosen as the venue for this global event, and I am not the only one to feel this way. In the past, a number of special models have been released in connection with the location of the event, but this time, six limited edition models have been released. Among them are the super models, such as the Minute Repeater World Time "Ref. 5531R" and the Minute Repeater Perpetual Calendar Chronograph Split "Ref. 5308P," which are based on the motif of the host country (a map of Chuo Ward, Tokyo) . To commemorate the event, the "Calatrava Watch Art Grand Exhibition Tokyo 2023" Ref. 6127G-010 (photo: left) and Ref. 7127G-010 (photo: right) were announced as a set.
Each piece is limited to 400 pieces, of which 300 will be sold as a set and 100 will be sold individually.
The case diameter of the "Ref. 6127G-010" is 36mm, the dial is a pastel color called "lacquered blue", and the combination with the alligator strap of the same color gives a refreshing impression. This is sold as a model for men, but since it is a reasonable size, it looks great on women as well.
The case diameter of the "Ref. 7127G-010" is 31mm, and the dial is a purple color called "lilac tone," making it a classy and cute watch. Although it is small in size, the dial and alligator strap are the same color, so it has a strong impact.

The case design seems to be inspired by the current "Perpetual Calendar Chronograph" "Ref. 5270", and it certainly makes sense when you compare the shapes of the lugs.
The back cover is engraved with " PATEK PHLIPPE TOKYO ", indicating that it was specially made for this event. Just looking at the two watches side by side makes me happy. Unfortunately, the closed case back does not allow us to see the movement, but it is equipped with the "Cal. 215 PS", known as a masterpiece of a hand-wound movement.
Not only is the watch itself special, but the accessories are also special, and this watch is sold as a set, and comes with a box that can store two watches together. Of course, other accessories are also included.

The list price is said to be just under 10 million yen, so there is a slight premium feel to it, but as this is such a rare model and there are very few in stock at this time, the selling price is probably kept low considering the future.
