The "Ref. 5711/1A-011" was released in 2012 as a new model with a white dial color.
This model was released in 2006 as a minor change to the "Ref. 5711/1A-001" to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Nautilus, but production will be discontinued in 2020. This time, we will introduce the rarest model, a double-name model with Tiffany & Co.
As I always say, I'd like to talk a little about my relationship with TIFFANY & CO.
Since 1851, Tiffany & Co. boutiques in the United States have been selling Patek Philippe watches; in fact, Tiffany & Co. is the oldest retailer of Patek Philippe in the United States.
*Currently, the double-name model is only sold at TIFFANY & CO. boutiques in New York, Beverly Hills, and San Francisco, and can only be purchased by people with an address in the United States.
In 2001, to celebrate the 150th anniversary of their partnership, they released the hunter case T150 Ref.5150 with an annual calendar. Seven years later, in 2008, Patek Philippe opened the first Patek Philippe salon in the United States at the Tiffany & Co. flagship store on New York's 5th Avenue, and in 2013, they released a special edition of the Annual Calendar Ref.5396G, limited to 100 pieces, to commemorate their fifth anniversary.
This shows just how special the relationship between the two companies is.
Let's get back to the main topic of this article, the "Ref. 5711/1A-011".
If you look closely, the white dial has a slight silver tint, giving it a cute and pop impression. It looks completely different from the black and blue dial "Ref. 5711/1A-001 (010)". In addition, the edges of the indexes and luminous hands are painted in dark blue, which at first glance appears black, creating a clear contrast and making it extremely easy to read.
In order not to spoil the original atmosphere of [Patek Philippe], the letters [TIFFANY & CO.] are written in small letters at the 6 o'clock position at the bottom of the dial. This modest size was probably the result of mutual trust and respect between the two companies.
The contents of the warranty card are important for double-name models. Generally, the seal of the retailer is stamped on the card, but the evaluation will change depending on whether or not it has the words [TIFFANY & CO.] on it. This particular watch was purchased at a boutique in Honolulu.
The Nautilus is particularly prone to scratches on the surface of the bezel and the edges of the case, and it seems that a relatively large number of them are polished, but this watch is in extremely good condition, having never been worn, and only showing a few fine scratches that appear to have occurred during storage.
The automatic movement "Cal.324 SC" can be seen through the skeleton back. The "Ref.5711" series has long used the "Cal.324 SC", but since 2019 it has been equipped with the "Cal.26-330 SC", which has a hacking function and no longer has a time period during which the date cannot be changed.
The warranty date is September 2013. Naturally, all accessories are included, and the watch is in very good condition. What's more, it was overhauled in April 2023 by Tiffany & Co. in Japan! Of course, it was not polished at that time. It is quite difficult to find a watch in such perfect condition.
