Good evening everyone.

The quadrennial soccer festival, the World Cup, is currently being held in Qatar, and soccer fans are probably not getting enough sleep. The dramatic comeback victory over the powerful German team gave courage to the whole nation. I would like to support Spain as much as I can, as long as it doesn't affect my work, so that they can continue to win!

Today, we would like to introduce some of the popular "Nautilus" and "Aquanaut" models that are equipped with the new movement, "Cal.26-330 SC."

Speaking of the Nautilus, the "Ref. 5811/1G-001" was announced on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, and it is still fresh in our memory. Although it was revived in 18KWG (white gold) instead of the popular SS (stainless steel) specification, many people were probably happy with the sudden good news. The market remains unstable, but we hope that this new release will lead to a reevaluation of discontinued models. Let's take a look right away.

"Ref.5711/1R-001"
"Nautilus" 18KRG

First up is the "Ref. 5711/1R-001," released in 2015. The combination of an 18KRG (rose gold) case and a brown-black gradient dial gives off a calm, yet luxurious vibe, making this a model that exudes adult sexiness.

After a production period of approximately seven years, it was officially announced that production will end in 2022, but the stainless steel "Ref. 5711/1A" was manufactured for approximately 15 years from 2006 to 2021, so even just comparing the years, it is easy to imagine that the number of units produced of this model was extremely small.

The new movement, "Cal.26-330 SC," has a hacking function (second hand stop) and eliminates the time period during which the date cannot be changed. This change in specifications has greatly improved convenience. Incidentally, although the exact timing is unclear, it is said that the watch has been switched to the "Cal.26-330 SC" from units manufactured after 2019.

There are some scratches and small marks on the overall surface due to use, and there are also some small scratches on the edge of the bezel, but the case and bracelet are solid and unpolished, making this a very good piece. This is not limited to the Nautilus, but there are many people who are looking for unpolished pieces, so this is a piece that I would highly recommend.

The warranty date is April 2019. All accessories and booklets are included and the item is in very good condition.

The selling price is 34,980,000 yen (tax included)

At the peak of the market in February 2022, we sold an extremely good condition item with a 2021 warranty date, and the selling price was 45,980,000 yen (tax included), so you can see that this is a very reasonable price compared to the previous market price.

"Ref.5168G-001"
"Aquanaut" 18KWG

Next up is the "Ref. 5168G-001," which was released in 2017 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the birth of the "Aquanaut" and is made of 18KWG (white gold) with a "jumbo" size case size of 42.2mm.
This model features a black gradient blue dial with a tropical band made of the same midnight blue color, giving it a sophisticated impression.

This particular watch has a small scratch on the bezel at 9 o'clock that can be seen with a magnifying glass, but there are only a few fine scratches and it is in excellent condition with almost no signs of use. As I mentioned previously, the Aquanaut is not polished, and many people are concerned about scratches, especially on the edges of the bezel, so in that respect, this is a watch that I can proudly recommend.

The double-door D-buckle, which has been adopted since the "jumbo" sized chronograph model "Ref. 5968A-001" released in 2018 , has push buttons on both sides, making it very easy to put on and take off. Incidentally, the "Ref. 5168G-001" was equipped with the old-style D-buckle for several years after its initial release. It is unclear when the change was made, but there is a watch sold in the past with a warranty date of 2020, which also had the old-style D-buckle, so it is expected that only models from 2020 onwards will be equipped with this, and that there will be a small number of them. Considering this, the fact that it has the new-style D-buckle is a positive point.

We have confirmed that the watch with the warranty date of 2021 is equipped with the old movement "Cal. 324 SC", so we cannot be sure whether the change was made at the end of 2021 or in 2022, but it seems likely that the new movement was installed quite recently.

The warranty date is 2022. The tropical band currently attached is unused and is about 19.5 cm long, so you can adjust (cut) it as is and wear it as is. In addition, two unused, uncut tropical bands (navy and khaki) are also included, and the accessories and booklets are also in good condition, making it a great deal.

The selling price is 12,540,000 yen (tax included)

Compared to the Nautilus, the Aquanaut model equipped with the new movement is extremely rare on the market, and this particular model, which comes with a warranty, is especially recommended.

summary

What did you think.

Although the watch market is a little stagnant, rare models and models in good condition are still selling even under these circumstances, so I feel that the brand power of Patek Philippe is overwhelming. The model I introduced this time is also a rare one, so if you are interested, please feel free to contact me. I hope to be able to introduce many attractive models in the future, so please look forward to the next one!

Lastly, please be careful not to get too little sleep during the World Cup. (laughs)

see you!
