Good evening everyone.
The mornings and evenings are getting colder and we can feel autumn approaching, but how are you doing? Commit Ginza is still open with the same passion, so if you're feeling cold, please feel free to come and warm up.
Well, this time I will introduce some of the watches from the extensive Patek Philippe lineup. I would like to introduce five watches that I would like to recommend . Please enjoy until the end.
"Ref.6119G-001"
"Calatrava" 18KWG
The new model for 2021 is the Ref. 6119G-001, which comes in an 18KWG (white gold) case, and was released alongside the Ref. 6119R-001, which comes in an 18KRG (rose gold) case.
The case diameter has been increased to 39mm, and the satin-finished grey dial features applied white gold indexes and dolphin hands, giving it an even more luxurious feel.
The amazing thing about this dial is that it looks completely different depending on the viewing angle, the brightness of the light, and the color. You can see the big difference just by comparing it with the first photo.
The dial design is well-balanced despite the case diameter being increased to 39mm, thanks to the new movement "Cal.30-255PS" which has a diameter of 31mm. With the addition of this movement, the position of the small seconds hand on the "Ref.6119" has been lowered, improving the balance on the dial.
The movement seen through the skeleton case back is very dynamic and impressive. Of course, the functionality has also been improved, with a long power reserve of 65 hours and a hack function (stops the second hand when the crown is pulled out), which I think is one of the features that fans have been waiting for.
The warranty date is May 2022. There are small scratches and inconspicuous marks due to use, but it is in very good condition with little signs of wear. All accessories are included and the condition is very good.
The selling price is 4,488,000 yen (tax included)

The official domestic suggested retail price is 3,894,000 yen (tax included). Although it is priced at a slight premium, there are few units in circulation, the warranty date is May 2022, and the condition is excellent, so I think the price is reasonable. This is a watch that I would definitely recommend taking advantage of this opportunity.
"Ref.5100G-001"
"Millennium Collection 10 DAYS" 18KWG
The "10 Days" Ref. 5100G-001 was released as a limited edition to commemorate the millennium (2000).
A total of 3,000 pieces were released in four different case materials, and this model was a hot topic at the time because it was equipped with the 10-day square movement "Cal.28-20/220". This 18KWG (white gold) case with blue dial was produced in 450 pieces, and is as popular as the PT (platinum) case with black dial, which was produced in 300 pieces. The unique case design is said to have been inspired by the "Ref.2554" released in the 1950s, and some people call it "Manta Ray". I think it is a very cool design that doesn't feel outdated at all even today.
Until then, the power reserve of most hand-wound watches was just under 48 hours (about two days), but of course there were no watches with a power reserve of 10 days, so it can be said that Patek Philippe was the first to achieve this feat.
The "Cal. 28-20/220", which can be viewed through the skeleton back, is so beautiful to look at that it almost draws you in.
It was recently overhauled and the case was finished in August 2022, and there are nearly two years left of the manufacturer's repair warranty period, which is very reassuring. It comes with a warranty card, box, booklet, pass case, repair details, Geneva Seal certificate, limited edition certificate, watch case, and commemorative medal, making it a great addition to any collection.
The selling price is 5,280,000 yen (tax included)

I recall that when the market price was rising, it was sold for nearly 10 million yen. The current price is attractive for those who like it, and it is a watch that I would recommend.
"Ref.5110P-001"
"World Time" Platinum
The "Ref. 5110" series was released in 2000 as a modern version of the "World Time." The case diameter is 37mm, which seems a little small, but I think this size is an excellent balance.
This is the World Time "Ref. 5110P-001" which is differentiated by using a pale blue guilloched part of the sub-dial. Around this time, diamonds began to be set on the 6 o'clock side of the case of the PT (platinum) model.
This world time mechanism allows you to change the hour hand, 24-hour rotating disk, and city name disk all at once by simply pressing the push button at the 10 o'clock position on the case. Push until the city name you want to set is at the 12 o'clock position, and then adjust it to the current time. It may seem like a simple function, but when you actually operate the watch, you'll see that it's a much more complicated mechanism than described.
The movement "Cal.240 HU" equipped with the revolutionary world time mechanism, which can be seen through the sapphire crystal skeleton case back, is so beautiful that you can't help but be entranced. It has an exquisite balance, including the proportions with the case.
The condition is that there are only inconspicuous scratches, and the case and buckle are solid considering the age. The genuine alligator strap currently attached has very little wear and matches the blue of the sub-dial, making it very stylish. An unused black alligator strap is also included as a replacement. The "Ref. 5110" has a lug width of 20mm and a buckle width of 14mm, which is actually a rare strap size. The box that comes with it is from a different era, but it was sold at a domestic authorized store, and it also comes with a world time booklet, pass case, and cloth.
The selling price is 6,468,000 yen (tax included)

This model has been hard to find lately, and has attracted a lot of inquiries and feedback from overseas collectors. We highly recommend this model to anyone looking for one.
"Ref.5167/1A-001"
"Aquanaut Extra Large" SS
The current model, "Ref. 5167A-001," was released in 2007, and the following year in 2008, this stainless steel bracelet model, "Ref. 5167/1A-001," was added.
When you hear "Aquanaut," the image of a tropical band is strong, and it is very popular, but my recommendation is this SS (stainless steel) bracelet version. The reason is that when any model is available with either a bracelet or band, the former is in higher demand and more expensive not only at the official retail price but also in the secondary market, whereas with the "Aquanaut," there is almost no difference in the selling price in the secondary market. As I have said before, if you first purchase the bracelet version "Ref. 5167/1A-001" and then later purchase the tropical band and the dedicated folding buckle from the manufacturer, you can enjoy both versions at a reasonable price. This is good news.
The "Cal.324 SC AIG.3" seen through the skeleton back is the same movement as the "Ref.5167A-001". After all, the movement of Patek Philippe can only be described as beautiful.
The best thing about this watch is that it is in very good condition considering its age. There are no noticeable scratches or scuffs, and the sharp edges of the case and bezel, which appear to have only been lightly polished in the past, make a great impression. Of course, there is almost no twisting in the bracelet.
The selling price is 7,370,000 yen (tax included)

The condition of the accessories is also very good, and it comes complete with warranty and booklets. Compared to when the market price was rising, the selling price is now much more affordable, and I think it's very reasonable. With future expectations in mind, I think this is a good buy!
"Ref.5270P-001"
"Perpetual Calendar Chronograph" Platinum
The Ref. 5270 was released in 2011 as the fifth generation of the Perpetual Calendar Chronograph model, equipped with an in-house movement. Seven years later in 2018, the long-awaited Platinum case model Ref. 5270P-001 was released.
Compared to the "Ref. 5270" series released in the past, the bar-shaped indexes from 10 o'clock to 2 o'clock have been replaced with Arabic numerals, clearly differentiating the dial design. Also, the dial is also called "salmon pink" or "copper", which has been used for classic and special models, so you can see how special this model is. The hands, indexes, subdials, and tachymeter scale are all black, which provides high visibility and a nice vintage feel.
The movement has been changed from the Lemania-based "Cal. CH 27-70 Q" to the fully in-house manufactured "Cal. CH 29-535 PS Q". As a result, the leap year display window is now at the 5 o'clock position, the day/night display window is at the 8 o'clock position, and the calendar display window below the 12 o'clock position is now larger, resulting in a dial design with better visibility.
Production ended this year, so there are few on the market and the market price is higher than before. The warranty date for this watch is 2021. The manufacturer's warranty period is still remaining, and it is unpolished and inconspicuous. This warranty period is important because the manufacturer's overhaul costs are high for models equipped with a perpetual calendar. Furthermore, it is equipped with a chronograph, so owners can use it with peace of mind.
The selling price is 30,800,000 yen (tax included)

It's not a cheap purchase, but if you are thinking of purchasing one, don't miss out on this excellent watch, even for the future. This is the watch I would most like to recommend.
