Good evening everyone.
In recent years, there has been a strong trend for watches to be sold on the basis of speculation and investment, and among Patek Philippe models, luxury sports models such as the Nautilus and Aquanaut, commonly known as "luxury sports", have been the main targets and drivers of this trend. As a result, market prices and sales prices have risen both domestically and overseas, but now sales prices have returned to the level they were in last fall when prices first began to rise, and it can be said that a buying opportunity has arrived.
In addition, the official domestic sales prices have already increased twice this year, and some models have increased in price by nearly 20% compared to the price at the beginning of the year. This means that for models with grand complications such as perpetual calendars, the price difference between before and after the price change is several million yen.
Today, from that perspective, I would like to recommend the " Ref.5270R-001 " I would like to introduce the "Perpetual Calendar Chronograph ". Please enjoy until the end.
"Ref.5270R-001"
"Perpetual Calendar Chronograph" 18KRG
In 2015, the Ref. 5270R-001 was added with an 18KRG (rose gold) case and silver dial. In 2018, the Ref. 5270/1R-001 was released with an ebony black sunburst dial, 18KRG (rose gold) case, and bracelet, but it was a short-lived model that only lasted for three years.
Like the third-generation "Ref.5270," the outer scale of the dial is a design that combines the first and second generations, with details that are generally closer to the inside, and the hands of the sub-dial (second hand, 30-minute counter hand, calendar display hand) that have been changed from leaf-shaped to straight, giving it a very neat appearance. The controversial part of the second-generation model, where the scale of the calendar part at 6 o'clock was bulging and looked like a tongue, has been improved in balance. While the 18KWG (white gold) version (both the silver and blue dials) had a cool and stylish impression, the 18KRG (rose gold) version has a warm and calm atmosphere.
This watch has had the case and buckle finished by an affiliated repair shop, so there are some very small scratches that could not be removed, but it is in beautiful condition. The stepped lug design, which is an essential part of talking about the "Ref. 5270," is also really "cool."
The hand-wound movement, which can be seen through the sapphire crystal skeleton back, is the fully in-house manufactured "Cal. CH 29-535 PS Q". Although it is equipped with a perpetual calendar mechanism in addition to a chronograph, it is only 7mm thick and boasts a maximum power reserve of 65 hours when the chronograph is not in operation. When you look at the movement, you are so fascinated that you feel like you are being sucked in, and although it may sound exaggerated, it is like a "microcosm". (laughs)
The closed back cover is not included, but the warranty card, booklets, pass case, and adjustment pin are included.
The selling price is 17,600,000 yen (tax included)

As mentioned at the beginning, the official domestic sales price has been revised twice since the beginning of this year. For reference, the currently available 18KYG (yellow gold) case "Perpetual Calendar Chronograph" "Ref. 5270J-001" is priced at 23,012,000 yen (tax included) . You can see that this price is reasonable. I personally think that the evaluation and value of models equipped with "Perpetual Calendar Chronograph" will increase more than ever in the future. This is a model that I would definitely recommend to those who are considering purchasing one.
Commit currently has the 18KWG (white gold) version of "Ref. 5270G-001" in stock, so we hope you will take a look at this as well.
