Good evening everyone.
Today, I would like to introduce the Annual Calendar Chronograph " Ref. 5905/1A-001 " that I have been looking forward to handling. Please enjoy until the end.

New for 2021 is the "Ref. 5905/1A-001" model, which features a stainless steel case and bracelet with a beautiful olive green sunburst dial, and is equipped with a chronograph with an annual calendar and flyback function that is suitable for daily use.
First, let's talk about the progression from the previous model, Ref. 5960.
※Ref.5960P-001
The Ref. 5960P-001, released in 2006, was one of the most surprising models in the history of Patek Philippe. As I have said many times before, when I first saw this model, I was very surprised by its completely different and innovative design from previous models. I especially remember the colorful counter at 6 o'clock, which I felt was playful in a good way that was not typical of Patek Philippe. By the way, this design is due to the revolutionary automatic chronograph movement "Cal. CH28-520".

Eight years later, in 2014, the new Ref. 5960/1A-001 was released with a stainless steel case and bracelet. The Ref. 5960, which had a strong image of elegance, now has a sporty element, and although this is a strong personal opinion, it can be said to be a luxury sports watch in a sense. Incidentally, in the same year, the production of the Ref. 5960 Platinum and 18KRG (rose gold) cases was discontinued.

The following year, in 2015, the Ref. 5905P-001, with a platinum case and a vibrant blue sunburst dial, and the Ref. 5905P-010 with an ebony black sunburst dial were announced as successors to the Ref. 5960.
※Ref.5205G-013
I think the basic design of the dial, case, etc. is very similar to the "Annual Calendar" "Ref. 5205" that was released in 2010.
Returning to the main topic, the difference between the "Ref.5905/1A-001" and the "Ref.5960" is that the power reserve indicator under the date window at 12 o'clock and the 12-hour counter on the coaxial counter at 6 o'clock are gone, making the design simpler and cleaner. In addition, the chronograph start/stop and reset buttons have been changed from round to square.
While blue and green models have been popular among all brands lately, Patek Philippe has a refined green hue that changes color depending on the environment. This is very tasteful and is typical of Patek Philippe.
The stainless steel bracelet is very similar to the Aquanaut bracelet. The sporty bracelet on the Ref. 5905 case gives it a dress watch look, but also the appearance of an elegant casual watch.
Peeking out from the skeleton back is the annual calendar mechanism-equipped flyback chronograph movement "Cal. CH 28-52 QA 24H." It's simply beautiful.
The buckle features a symmetrical Calatrava cross design, which is also used on the folding buckle of the tropical band model and the bracelet model.
The bracelet has been adjusted, but the protective sticker is still on part of the buckle, and there are only a few small scratches from being tried on indoors a few times. The warranty is dated 2022, so there is plenty of time left on the manufacturer's warranty. Of course, all accessories, including the adjustment pins, are included and the watch is in very good condition.
The selling price is 11,880,000 yen (tax included)
Domestic sales price: Lowest price just under 16 million yen (tax included)
A certain famous overseas sales site: Lowest price is just over 12 million yen (excluding tax)
The condition is almost like new, and the price is attractive both domestically and internationally, making this a piece that we can definitely recommend.
summary
What did you think.
The watch market has been difficult to read recently, and it seems that prices have dropped considerably compared to before depending on the model, but I think that now is the perfect time to buy. The watch we introduced this time will likely be hard to come by in the future, so if you are looking for one, please feel free to contact us.
see you!
