Good evening everyone.

Today, I would like to introduce some Calatravas that are attractively priced (good value) and have great potential for growth in the future. These are models that I would recommend as your "first Patek," so if you are interested, please take a look.

"Ref.5119J-001"
"Calatrava" 18KYG

The Ref. 5119 was released in 2006 as the successor to the Calatrava Ref. 3919, which was released in 1985 and features the Clous de Paris bezel.

Apart from the case diameter being increased to 36mm, it closely follows the design of the Ref. 3919, with a refreshing white dial with a lacquer finish, black printed Roman indexes, and thin black plated leaf hands.

While the "Ref. 3919" has a two-piece structure, the "Ref. 5119" has a three-piece structure with a skeleton case back.

The 36mm diameter is not too large, making it a size that suits Japanese people in particular, and the 7.43mm thickness makes it suitable for both formal and casual wear, making it a recommended choice.

The item we are introducing this time shows some scuffs and scratches due to use, but it comes with a warranty and box, and is dated 2013, so it is not too old.

The attractive price is 1,958,000 yen (tax included).

This is definitely a bottle worth buying!

"Ref.5116R-001"
"Calatrava" enamel dial 18KRG

The Ref. 5116 was released in 2009 only in 18KWG (white gold). Later, an 18KRG (rose gold) version was added. It uses the same case as the Ref. 5119 introduced earlier, so at first glance it looks like the same model, but look at the bottom of the dial.

You can see the word "EMAIL". This is a model that uses a cloisonné enamel dial. If you look closely with a magnifying glass, you can see the texture of the enamel depending on how the light hits it.

For your information, the "Ref. 5119" has "SWISS" written on the bottom of the dial.

Because it uses cloisonné techniques, both the production and distribution volumes are low, and the piece we are introducing here comes complete with accessories such as a warranty.

The attractive price is 2,585,000 yen (tax included).

This is also a good one to buy now.

"Ref.5196R-001"
"Calatrava" 18KRG

In 2004, the current model "Ref. 5196" which is a successor to the original "Calatrava" "Ref. 96" was released.
It was released in four materials: YG, RG, WG, and PT (yellow gold, rose gold, white gold, and platinum).

Since the first Calatrava was born in 1932, many derivative models have appeared, but I think that the Ref. 5196 is the model that inherited the classic Ref. 96. This is because when it was announced, Patek Philippe also announced that the Ref. 5196 was a homage to the Ref. 96.

The Calatrava is known for its combination of Dauphine (dolphin) hands, three-dimensional applied hour markers, and dot-shaped minute markers. It's a simple yet timeless design.

Only the PT (platinum) version is differentiated, and the dial is two-tone, with a combination of Breguet indexes and leaf hands. Of course, this design also pays homage to past models, and is a dial design seen in the 1930s and 1940s.

The piece we are introducing this time is made of 18KRG (rose gold), which is said to be the most suitable for Japanese people. Combined with the 37mm diameter, it is easy to use and can be worn both on and off the job.

The attractive price is 3,080,000 yen (tax included).

It embodies the classic Calatrava Ref. 96, making it a perfect choice for your first Patek or your first dress watch. The market price is also rising, so the timing is perfect.

"Ref.5296R-001"
"Calatrava" 18KRG

The year after the release of the Ref. 5196 was 2005.

Following in the footsteps of the "Ref.96", a practical automatic three-hand model with a date display, the "Ref.5296", is now available.

The case size is 38mm, 1mm larger than the "Ref. 5196". Personally, I think 37mm or 38mm is the best size for a simple dress watch.

It is well known as the "sector dial," but among antique lovers it is also known as the "Tokyo dial." The use of blue steel is a homage to past models, including the "Ref. 96."

The skeleton back allows you to see the automatic movement, "Cal. 324 SC," and its beauty will captivate anyone who sees it.

The watch we are introducing this time does not come with a warranty, but the case and buckle were finished by an affiliated repair shop when it arrived, so it is currently in very good condition. Another plus point is that it comes with a folding buckle made by Patek Philippe.

The attractive price is 3,080,000 yen (tax included).

It comes with an original pin buckle and a folding buckle, and at this price! This is also a must buy!
