This year, many interesting models were announced with innovative designs and a wide range of colors. It will be some time before I can get my hands on one, but I am already looking forward to seeing what it will be like when I see it in person.
So, this time, I would like to introduce the new Patek Philippe models announced at "Watches and Wonders Geneva 2023" that I think are particularly noteworthy, based on my own personal opinion. Please read to the end!

The first model we would like to introduce is the unique new addition to the Calatrava series, the Calatrava Travel Time (Ref. 5224R-001).
This watch has a 42mm diameter 18K RG (rose gold) case, a beautiful navy blue dial, and an eye-catching 24-hour Arabic index with RG (rose gold) borders. The way to read the local time and departure time is the same as the conventional "travel time mechanism" model, with the normal luminous hour hand indicating the local time (local time) and the skeleton hour hand indicating the home time (departure time). The operation method is different from the conventional one, and the local time (skeleton hand) can be set in one-hour increments by pulling the crown to the first position. This specification is made possible by the new movement "Cal.31-260 PS FUS 24H" that uses a micro rotor with a 48-hour power reserve. The case thickness is kept to 9.85mm and the lugs are sharp, so you probably won't feel the size when wearing it.

The "Calatrava Pilot Travel Time Chronograph" "Ref. 5924G" is a version of the "Calatrava Pilot Travel Time" that adds a chronograph function.
The previous "Travel Time" had a clean design, so this model has more impact. With the center hand now a "chronograph hand," the date display subdial, which was previously located at 6 o'clock, has been moved to 12 o'clock, and the second hand is now located at 6 o'clock. The date adjustment button has also been moved from the side of the case at 6 o'clock to the 12 o'clock side, and the chronograph with the "flyback function" is now operated with the buttons at the 2 o'clock and 4 o'clock positions. The case diameter is 42mm and the case thickness is 13.05mm, so it has an outstanding presence. The dial is available in two colors, "Blue Gray Gradient (Ref.5924G-010)" and "Lac Khaki Green (Ref.5924G-001)," and both come with calf straps of the same color. We recommend the "Ref.5924G-001" for those who want a chic and elegant look, and the "Ref.5924G-010" for those who like military style.

The Calatrava Ref. 6007G is now available in three colors, giving it a catchy look.
If you are a Patek Philippe connoisseur, you may have heard this model number (Ref.) and thought of the "Ref. 6007A-001", which was produced in 2020 in a limited edition of 1,000 pieces to commemorate the birth of the new factory in Geneva. This model features a polished 18KWG (white gold) case, and the black-based dial has yellow, red, and sky blue hands and circles with different branch numbers (the last three digits of the model number). In addition, the stitching and lining of the black calfskin belt with a carbon pattern are also in each color, resulting in a colorful finish. The "Ref. 6007A-001" released in 2020 was equipped with the "Cal. 324 SC" movement, but this new model has been updated to the "Cal. 26-330 SC" with a hack function and no date change prohibited time period. It has a colorful design that is perfect for the upcoming season, so I would like to find someone wearing it in the city. (laughs)

"Aquanaut Luce Annual Calendar" 18KRG

The "Aquanaut Luce Annual Calendar" (Ref. 5261R-001) is a derivative model of the "Aquanaut Luce" for women.
The Ref. 5261R-001 has a case diameter of 39.9 mm, and looks perfectly natural when worn by a man. Just like the Ref. 4947/1A-001 Annual Calendar, a new model announced in 2021 with a stainless steel case and bracelet, unisex models are coming out one after another. The blue-gray dial and tropical band of the same color give it a calm impression, but the 18KRG (rose gold) case gives it a gorgeous impression, making it easy for anyone to use. The arrangement is fresh and good, with a moon phase at 12 o'clock, a day of the week display at 3 o'clock, a date display at 6 o'clock, and a month display at 9 o'clock, which has never been seen before. The automatic movement Cal. 26-330 S QA LU, which is based on the Cal. 26-330 SC used in the new Calatrava, with the addition of an annual calendar mechanism, has also been improved in terms of functionality.

Lastly, we have the Aquanaut Chronograph "Ref. 5968R-001," which comes in an 18KRG (rose gold) case with a brown dial and rubber strap.
Some of you may be wondering, "Haven't it already been released?" The reason is that the "Aquanaut Extra Large" "Ref. 5167R-001" and the "Aquanaut Travel Time" "Ref. 5164R-001" in the same color scheme are already on sale. However, this "Aquanaut Chronograph" is actually the first time it has been released in this color scheme. Some people may not have had a fresh image of it, but I am very happy that a new model has been released in this beautiful color scheme that everyone would want to wear at least once. By the way, the dial of this "Ref. 5968R-001" looks a little brighter, so it may look slightly different from the "Ref. 5167R-001" and "Ref. 5164R-001". We will compare it carefully when it actually arrives, so please wait patiently.
summary
Personally, I got the impression that there were many innovative and attractive models, but what did you all think? Either way, there is no doubt that the finished product was worthy of the name Patek Philippe.
I think it will be some time before we can see the real thing, but when it does arrive, I would like to introduce it in detail! And if you are lucky enough to get your hands on the new 2023 model, please come and show it off! (lol)
see you!
